I am not a computer expert by a long shot, but how do you explain identical IP's in different geographical locations, and in one case different states? How do lap tops work as far as being on-line and mobile, do they change IP's from place to place?

wil.

Wil - That is the problem here, these people supposedly live in different cities but their bets are all coming in from the same computer. Obviously ewinner thinks the same person is making all of the wagers. Most likely this person set up accts under other peoples names(who happen to live in a different city) and then made all the bets himself. Of course the reason he would do this is to circumvent the limits and get more bonuses. IF that is what happened here then I have no problem with ewinner not paying him.

Good point re. the chances of two separate people on the same IP block playing the same games for similar amounts are remote. The thing is we only have Ewinners word for that, they never mentioned what the duplicate plays were.

Scoob, like I said I am not really computer literate.

All this limit discussion isnt the point. So they guy was good, congrats to him.

In the worst case scenario this book MUST pay the winnings of 1 set of the games that were duplicated (allegedly) and give back the funds deposited, then close the accounts.

But, before that, deal with each account and require idenfitication that authenticates their claim of separation (drivers lisc, water bill, credit card etc) and give the people the chance to prove they are who they say they are.

Finally, what is wrong with a capper who wants to have their friends open an acct and share in some winnings?

If books arent willing to take the risk, then get the hell out and let others who ARE willing be books.

Not tough..I agree with others who said that if these guys lost, we wouldnt hear a peep from this place.

The IP argument being made doesn't hold up for the following reasons.

Assuming that in a random situation that represents less than 1% of all users worldwide you share an IP with another person 100 miles away, we can believe this. For all 6 accounts let’s assume that they indeed all shared one IP address and that of those 1000 people 3 randomly all were dime bettors who just randomly choose to wager with EWINNER.

Then these folks all bet the same games night after night, the same random games, from the same random IP network, on the same random sportsbook.

It's a very strong argument you are making but unfortunately we don't see the validity.

EWINNER,

Before I end up having the same problem. A good friend of mine likes to have a share in my bets, so he has opened many accounts at the same places, as where I bet. Is it ok, if I sometimes put a bet on for him on his account?

___________

Hey ACW, why not just come out and admit that you have 6 different names going on now offshore, and are only asking this because you are getting nervous now and only covering yourself in case you get caught next..

Come on acw, i know what you're doing.. I am not stupid kiddo. Just be a man and admit it..

TTinco is 100% correct about the IP claim.
In fact many people on AOL will show up under the same IP.

It's not alway cut & dry, although in this case it sounds like EWinner is probably correct ... but then again I don't know the 'whole' story.

Correcto Mundo... This goes way beyond one "avg. Joe" poster (studbolt) having a problem.

FF, how much does this have to do with unrenewed advertising contracts and peoples' money movers vs. actually being a player circumventing limits?

scoob probably hit it right on the money..one guy set up several different accounts for his friends. What are the odds that 3 different people were betting on pretty much the same games? sounds like this guy was taking advantage of their bonus and playing middles on em. Kind of stupid to try it from the same computer though. They should remove all bonuses, pay them and ask for them not to come back...

Just a point, but EWinner has an 8X's bonus rollover & a 30 day rule ...

I signed up when Sirbet was down and IMMEDIATELY declined the bonus due to the 30 day rule.

IMO this is not exactly the kind of place to bonus whore at. The circumventing limits angle seems more reasonable than the bonus whore one.

I am homedawg and I have one of the closed down accounts mentioned above. I am both shocked and outraged by Ewinner's accusations. A friend and I each signed up with accounts. I play baseball and football as the facts should bear out. The second person/account I referred to Ewinner on a recommendation from Sirbet. The second account holder is my best friend. Not uncommon for a duplicate play to be made on occasion. I absolutely dispute their claims of rampant duplication and I need some assistance as to getting the rest of our winnings off of their site. We operate independently and the history of plays should bear this out. We 2 homes in Dallas where we share on computer. I have an additional one at work, as does he. Regarding out of country IP address, I just don't follow. Please help

I just can't believe what I am reading here. Maybe because I am real tired I am reading wrong and if that is the case please correct me.

E winner you are saying you are not paying them any of there winnings because you think this is the same person? Even if it is the same person you cannot steal there fvcking money???? If they would of lost you would of kept their money.

This is the perfect thing for the newbie to see and exactly what the offshore biz needs a book admittedly stealing people's money.

Yeah a newbie will consider opening up an account offshore after this...

This guy should be penalized for having more then one account but you have to pay him his winnings. Take ALL his bonuses back. Even go back and take every bonus he ever received from all his accounts from day one but you CANNOT STEAL FROM THE GUY.

This is why you cannot play with little shops and have to stick to the big boys...

This is bullshit...

acw is a very well known multiple acct holder in Hong Kong, China.. He is considered to be one of the most dangerous Oriental gamblers to ever walk on this earth. He is a legend back home in Hong Kong..He's been banned by every casino in Hong Kong..

Hey ACW,

the good news is, even when they do eventually catch you and your 6 fake accts, at least you don't have to worry about them ever finding you in China, as there are over 1 billion Chinese there.. So maybe your IP also will be harder to track.. seeing there are so many Chinese in China...

Hey ACW, i have this friend of mine in china and I'm wondering if you know him. His family name is Wong.. He's got straight black hair, and fair skin.. Do you know him?

KRACKMAN........quote "THIS IS WHY YOU CANNOT PLAY WITH LITTLE SHOPS AND HAVE TO STICK WITH THE BIG BOYS"

playing offshore, this statement by Krackman is very sad, but increasingly true it seems.........

i will add this......nothing wrong with being "small" but you should still run your business the right way.....
