Benitez single handedly removed all the air of the Liverpool baloon with his team selection last night. Losing last Saturday at home was one thing, but they could have and certainly should have easily won last nights game if he had played his starters. No doubt in my mind whatsoever.

They would have been in the semi final of a cup competition that gaurantees a good day out in Cardiff for the fans and a place in Europe had they won it.

His record against the other big 3 teams is shocking. Absolute garbage. Fair enough, the Carling Cup is a bit shitty. However, like you said, after getting pummelled at home 3-1, its important for team morale that you play a strong stable team to get the loss out of your system. Having said that, I get more and more impressed with Wenger and the Arsenal youth everytime I see them. I hate the guy's constant whining but in two or three years Arsenal are going to be brilliant.

Agreed, it pains me to say as a Spurs fan but you are right.

Chelsea have no central defenders and lack motivation on a shitty night, on a shitty pitch, while this is Wycombe's WC final. Chelsea will beat them easily in the second leg at Stamford Bridge and go to Cardiff but I look to Wycombe to keep it close at home.
