Going 60 in a 30 driving a semi full of gas......yes he deserved his sentence

36 years is too much

it was a tragic accident, and there should be penalties under the circumstances, but he didn't commit murder

his employer deserves to lose a large lawsuit

I have to ask, would you be so lax if it was your family that was burned alive?

Also, All crimes are committed because of "bad judgement". Murder, manslaughter, theft, dui, etc etc etc.....all bad judgement. I don't think it is relevant to use bad judgement as an excuse to be let off the hook. If that was a valid excuse, no one would be in prison.

Painting all crimes with the broad brush of "bad judgement" is dumb as hell. You have to differentiate between a willful crime and an accident. You can't say that tipping over a truck because you were driving like an asshat is the same as robbing a store and killing the clerk.
