The poll is now closed with a final vote of 56-41 to ban Doc Mercer.

Effective immediately Doc is banned indefinitely here at The Rx.

I apologise to those of you that disagree with this decision but The Rx. feels it is in the best interests of this forum to take this action at this time.

I've been gone from the Rx for a few days - so I haven't been in the debate.
Everyone knows how I feel, so I couldn't add anything constructive to this string.

The issue for me, and I assume most of the conservatives on the forum, wasn't docs politics, but his constant spamming and jamming. If it was just politics, we'd be looking to get rid of cussin and JR and X, and if it was naivette, we'd be looking to get rid of Cap'n and Stucco - I don't know about the other conservatives on this forum, but you can't have a good debate if everyone agrees with you.

I also enjoyed going a few rounds with doc - debating with doc could be a lot of fun, he could be so.....well. so himself!

If doc is really gone, I won't miss his spamming and jamming. It's a shame, because doc did present an unusual POV.
