Yes many people do feel that way.
But not anyone with credibility.

Yes you got the Rare UB/AB stuff.

But the way you are describing it is a mass conspiracy situation which nobody with any cred believes.

I liken online cheating to that rare event such as a basketball player at a mid level D1 school accepting $500 to keep it under thespread

Your belief system goes way beyond that.
What you are saying is basically the equivalent of when someone says the entire NFL or NBA is rigged like the WWE.

And there is nobody in the poker community that believes that.

And the fact that you don't realize that does say something for your live game.

I know you don't realize you are telling on yourself because of your lack of knowledge but you are.

If you want your live poker story to be believable I would suggest you refrain from talking about poker on this site.

Because every time you do you expose yourself.

"Telling on yourself". You have no clue what you're talking about. None. I know people that will not play Internet poker because of the scandals.....people that have won more and know more about poker than you do. Just because you met the nitwit festering zit....doesn't mean you have to back his idiotic positions now.

Im not saying everything is rigged but many are and there have been more scandals than just UB.

Many in the poker community do not trust anything about online poker and are completely scared off because of its piss poor regulation....which is non existent. It's why the players have to uncover these scandals before anything is done about it.

Dont even start with the nonsense about telling me to refrain from talking about it....as if it exposes something....that's total bullshit...you tried this shit years ago....then asked me for my poker handle at UB....which I sent you thru pm and you said you didn't have time to research it. Which, I'm sure you did, and just didn't wanna acknowledge the level and stakes I was playing. So please spare me this nonsense that you know things that I don't.

Umm, I don't play poker, but you're this high roller poker millionaire. Facing these Rx players should feel like little league for you.

PS - What's a flush?

you don't play poker.....you don't post picks. Do you even know this is a gambling site? I know you've paid for losing services in the past.

So.....your entire existence is to scream lies about Obama, make horrid political predictions about Fred Thompson, rant on Facebook that embarrasses your family, get kicked off and banned at different websites and blow up every thread you enter.

Sounds like quality stuff.

Soooo...rather than enter a poker contest and show off your enviable skills making some easy $$$, you'd rather spend all your time in this forum talking out of your ass and arguing with complete strangers for hours on end.

Yeah, your millionaire poker 'story' is totally believable, vtard.

First of all they're not sit n go's, they are MTT.

Secondly, of course skilled players have an advantage, even in freerolls.

Third, can you homos take this pathetic dick-measuring contest back down to the poly trash bin please?

Ummmm.....that's not the point....for some reason these nits think that one poker tournament can determine the skill of a player...yeah, like when some numbskull pushes all in on the flop in hand one against the nuts.....only to have runner runner give the idiot the pot and knocks you out.

It's not one poker tournament, it's a season; there have already been 4.

That fact that there is some element of luck doesn't completely negate the fact that there is a huge element of skill.

The argument you make could apply to all poker. You could always get coolered or sucked out on; so I guess that means there's no skill in poker eh?

PS I don't think you know what "nit" means. Of course now you'll google it, but you use it way out of context here. It refers to a tight player, not necessarily an idiot.

You're supposed to be some kind of semi-pro player, right?

Ummmm.... Nit is short for nitwit in my world....a term I use quite often.

Youre not grasping the argument I'm having with these idiots. They think one tournament can accurately show a players skill....and I'm trying to let those people know that it doesn't. They admit they don't play poker.....so I need to explain it slow.

Never said im a pro of any kind. Skill is involved but luck plays a big part....I know people who fancy themselves a pro don't like hearing that though. I disagree that skill is a "huge element" I have a ton of poker earnings and don't think of it as some huge skill. I've been the best player at many a table and not gotten thru.....so while skill is a part of it....doesn't guarantee anything.

The fact that you've never heard the term "nit" as a poker term basically proves that you are not a serious player at all. Not that I care, just saying.

And I am grasping everything just fine. All they are saying is if you are such a good player you'd probably be playing in the regular free tournaments the rx hosts - ya know, to clean up and make some easy free cash. Think I've made $700 in Bonus Plays for a couple hours of playing. So it is probably worth the time investment if you are a decent player.

At least give a good excuse like "I'm too busy playing in higher stakes games (or x, y, and z)" instead of "one tournament does not prove skill", because that's not what anyone was saying.

Christ you ARE dumb.

Poker players are the most self delusional people on the planet. Of course I've heard the term before.....clearly you didn't see I was referencing the posters here and not poker players. I've used the term many times at this site that has nothing to do with poker.

I have zero intetest in playing poker online here or anywhere. I play only periodically since 2010.....I'm bored by it. Mostly because poker players are like pool players or horse bettors.....some of the most disgusting people on the planet......I made what I made and the game has served its purpose for me.

Im glad you made 700 bucks here in a bunch of hours......good for you but I play that amount or more on an afternoon baseball game.....but to each their own.

I could play in 5 tournaments here and not cash once....or cash every time....both really mean nothing. But hey, if you think it's some unreal skill that you have.....then have it.

First off I don't consider myself a "poker player". I have real job, I just like to play in my spare time. Still, what exactly did I say that was "self-delusional"? I don't think it's some "unreal skill I have", I (like any other sane/normal/intelligent person) recognize that poker is a mixture of skill and luck. I consider myself an above average poker player, and my track record in rx tournaments certainly supports that claim at least a little bit. I don't think it means "nothing".

Guy claims to have made a fortune playing poker, but gave it up because it's "boring". And he legitimately thinks online poker is widely rigged, an opinion only held by lifetime losers and/or idiots. Oh and BTW the guy is apparently throwing around dimes on baseball games for shits and giggles. And he calls me self-delusional. Hilarious.

Kinda like calling me self-delusional? Just saying it doesn't make that so either.

I'm not playing dimes for shits and giggles. I gamble to win money.

I realize that the poker world is full of degenerate assholes who I choose not to be around. Combine that with the fact that I just don't enjoy the game that much anymore....and my poker days are mostly over....outside of a few live tournaments every so often.

I think we've seen enough online poker scandals to realize it is a shady industry.....and no chance I'm wasting money in games that have a legit chance of being crooked.

Youre a bit delusional on the aspect of poker skill being a huge part. Did watch watch Jamie Gold win the WSOP?? That guy is an awful player.....he won almost every big pot by outdrawing and getting lucky....and he's considered a champion....it really isn't like that in any true game of skill. Chris moneymaker was even worse. But as a whole, poker players are delusional about most everything.
