Started off great with the EPL and didnt catch the breaks with MLS until the end if RSL would of lost it would of been such an awful run of games in a row losing after the final EPL game that it could make a grown man cry. In Vegas as my mind has taken a break from football til yesterday which is good I think. I like a side in the MLS game tonight.
But before that my mind is now in Portugal mode, I always get nervous before a big game and this game against Poland is a big game. They need to win bottom line. There is an article about Portugal make shift defence going into the game against Poland on ESPN however that is P.S a) Pepe has never played for Portugal yet. While losing Carvalho will hurt but Fernando Meira and Jorge Andrade are very good players.
Ok enough about that, while the last time they two faced in Poland, Portugal lost 2-1 which I can almost understand. I mean two month prior your playing in the biggest game of your life against France and now your playing in Poland. I shall got back before then to World Cup 2002 when they two teams faced which is the only highlite I have of that rigged world cup.

That farfenuggen of an under in the ITALY / France game was brilliant.
Under 2 takes some serious balls. I just couldn't, I don't trust these two.
I liked Scolari...in Brazil. National teams should be coached by their own inhouse countrymen. When the ship goes down, you can't point the finger at the foreigner. I like Scolari coaching Portugal as much as when Erickson was the head skipper with England...(not much)
Donadoni of Italy is an absolute dickhead, but at least he's Italian. If he fails, there are plenty of qualified Italians to take his place and deal with those primadonnas.

The special one will take over after 2008 anyway however Scolari has god like status in Portugal. He took a team that was pretty to watch but where no threat to any top team to a team that fulfilled it's potential whatever that may be going forward.
As for the under, I usually hate playing under 2 as well but Italy and France they make you earn it. You don't get an easy one against them plus I think each team was nervous to the point that neither team didn't want to make any kind of mistake.

I really like the over, I don't like however laying -128 on it which is why it's only one unit. Everton is not going to play negative football at home where as Manchester will be looking to score so with the talent on both teams hopefully 3 goals find the back of the net.

Hopefully Liverpool is looking ahead to there champions league games coming up plus with so many of there players coming back from international duty I'll side with a solid Portsmouth team getting a positive result at home.

I think when teams that have two high powered offensive attacks meet they respect each other to the point that no one wants to make a mistake. Add to that the hate each team has for each other I'm thinking a close game that should end 1-0 or 1-1

Sunderland getting abit more respect then they should be getting at home against Reading. With Sunderland a tad banged up i'll side with a smart team like Reading that will make you earn the points.
