there is a 2 HOUR window where posters are kept online... Not the 24 Hour+ that others use.

so I understand what you are talking about... but We Don't do that here.

Defy, I actually read that entire post...most reading I have done since high school.
I don't disagree with it, but the one thing you are right about hands down is our sub forum activity. There are so many forums out there but the only room that gets decent activity is the main room. Here each sport has very good participation in their room. That is unheard of if you ask me. Other forums I actually prefer plays in the main room so I can see it. If we all did that here, it would get ugly.

I agree mobile site good....contests are okay.....I have issues with that Hilton contest. Great concept, but I really think they shouldn't have made it identical....they should've made it better since we have the ability with online access and no proxy requirements

I'll disagree with the point-system, Defying. Do people really think the point system at SBR is worth the aggravation of kids power-posting and bashing just to get more points? I feel it turns off the better contributors. I would hate to see that here. I think the value of the Rx is in the long-time posters that show respect and less with posters ghosting, bashing, and shottaking others.

Listen... we tried it. it wasn't the best Point system around and now it's gone unless I can find a better one.
It was just another way to Give back to our Posters
IMHO, I see More RX Sponsored FREE Contests in the future. where we will give away more or Different Prizes.

sorry, got a little long winded. I tend to get passionate about this topic. The Offshore Forum is no where near indicative of how theRX is doing... Are there improvements theRX could make, sure there always is, but by in large it's a great place...
CPAW = CantPickAWinner runs the service Play forum, again by far the best in forumville. I did this at my old forum for 2 years and was so burnt out. I have no idea how he does this daily for so long. Great asset!
LVH contest is still a great contest, and seen it grow the last two years is awesome. I understand your point but at the same time, theres others that argue that it should be the exact same thing.
