All teams probably cheat to some degree. Muddy, your hard-on for the Patriots is pathetic.

exactly, why dont you think all coaches are not throwing up their arms in the air and screaming foul. every coach on every team cheats if thats what you even want to call it. the problem is belichik is so arrogant he didnt try to hide it. but believe me you truly believe no coaches have spoken up about this that he is the only one cheating? stop fooling yourself.

so they lost the super bowl, you think they wont be back in the afc champ game vs indy next year playing for the 09 title? you can mark that on your calendar. let me ask you one more question muddy since your such an nfl mogul, how many other teams won 18 games in a season? not even your 72 precious dolphins did that. dont cry they won a ring, its the only one they got. pats have 3 in 5 years.

Boston fans are so pathetic. They can dish out 20+ weeks of Pats bullshit but can't take two days of hearing there team blew the biggest game in the history of Boston.
Was nowhere near the biggest game in Boston sports history. Even at 18-0 and going for an undefeated season, the Pats' popularity doesn't come close to equaling that of the Red Sox.
its just that if you look at the 3 main sports, NBA, NFL, MLB...Boston is turning into the modern day New York. What I mean is they are trying to buy these championships. The same way Boston fans have ripped the Yankees back in the 90's, Boston is doing the same thing. Buying Moss, Welker, Stallworth...KG & Ray, putting down the dough for Dice K and hell I am really surprised they didn't get Santana either....

but just like the Yankees, you can't buy a championship. On paper they look great, but there are many flaws hidden by the media. Many bitch about the 48 yarder not attempted by NE, but when did NE ever kick FG's this year? They were busy drawing up 30 yard out routes on 4th and 1 with 30+ pt leads. Well finally came a time where their offense did not look so great and they just went through the motion of going for it like they had been doing. It bit them in the ass.
Your reasoning that the Celts and Pats are trying to "buy" championships is infinitely flawed considering there's a salary cap in both the NBA and NFL. Go ahead and use that argument against the BoSox, but what do you expect a team in a huge market with (by far) the most expensive ticket prices in the sport and a stadium that's been sold out every game for years (which equals a significant flow of revenue) to do? Of course they're going to spend money to compete. Blame the system, not the team.

This is defintely one of the biggest lost of all time. I guess the Pats could of use some of those points when they were running up the scores on teams that were severely beaten. It,s funny how Karma comes back and bites you in the azz.
The season may not be over yet. If Arlen Spectre gets his way,you could see Brady and Belechik in a court of law soon. Stay tuned !

We know that Moss has allegations by woman against him and wasn,t able to make it out to Hawaii. Whats Brady excuse for not showing up ?
Too severely beaten up by the Giants or he needs a week to discuss with Belchik on getting their story straight , should they be called in to court.

Pat Patriot you are getting it much worse than I did when WV lost to Pitt. Like me, you talked smack and now you have to take it. You are doing a fine job of taking it.

Fuck these guys.

Face it, you guys fucked up big time. Now sit there and take it like men. I thought Boston fans were the best fans in the country? Take it then punks.

Boston fans accept defeat. Giants beat us. DONE.

When your team (Seattle) lost in the Soup Bowl, you went crying home to mommy and complained about the refs, and the side judge and the back judge ... and your fat coach kept crying about it too.

... and you tell Boston fans to take it like a man???

I am Not a Seahawk Fan at all...But I now see that you guys are talking about "another" Super Bowl....

Let's face it...If you Asked 1000 people about the "Calls" in that game
700-800 of them would say, Yes...There were some Questionable Calls

Genius Belichick makes 5 critical mistakes.

1 - He made this years road warriors wear white. He had his choice of colors since the Patriots were the home team
and he choose to put the Giants who steamrolled through the season wearing white in white.

2 - He didn't try a 49 yard field goal because he knew he didn't have Vinateri and didn't want the media B.S. if he
missed it.

3. He should of stuck to the grey nasty hoodie he got from a lost in found at razor stadium. instead he switchs to a brand new hoodie.

4 - Playing balls out in week 15 to keep the undefeated season. I think if he rest the starters and plays vanilla the
outcome in the Super Bowl is much different. The Giants were confident after that game and they knew exactly
what they did wrong the first time. Woo Hoo! we had an undefeated season.

5 - Having the team apply for 19-0 and 19-0 Perfect Season trademarks. Did he think bulletin board material only
worked in the Patriot locker room.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Of course ... but the issue dealt with "taking it like men" ... which is not what their fat coach did nor what their fans did .. they went crying home to mommy.

If you had written what Addict wrote, I wouldn't have replied ... it's just that Seahawk fans shouldn't be talking about taking it like men ... just like Indy fans shouldn't try to tell me that "injuries are part of the game" because we know all the excuses they make.

Can I get a copy of that 19-0 book they made in Boston?

Seriously, FZ has always been classy IMO. That thread Wil posted has him and Pat in it. Where are all the others who talked crap all year? There are quite a few and we all know who they are.

Sure, the book is titled "Cheaters Never Prosper"

The one shot Seahawks got fucked in the only SB they probably see for a long time by the refs.In one of the worst SB's in recent memory. No doubt in my mind.

All I can say on a personal level is I been a fan of the Pats all my life and a season ticket holder. They are my favorite New England sports team and have been since Bob Kraft bought the team.
Luck is the residue of design. And the Giants were lucky the other night because they put themselves into the position to be lucky.Giants had no choice to play their best game to beat the Pats and the Pats did not play their best game, and it still took a miracle escape of a sack and a miracle catch by the Giants and unexplainable drops of 3 picks on the final drive to beat the Pats.It should have never came down to that but it did because the Giants put themselves in a position all game long for a chance for those things to happen. The Pats have made a living doing that to other teams for the last 7 years.
I would have been a lot more dissapointed if they lost to Jacks or SD.
The Pats from week 6 on took everyones best game punch they could muster. They had their schedule changed to nite prime time almost weekly.
Sports Illustrated had them on the cover saying 9 down 10 to go.
No other team team ever went 16-0 in the reg. season and not even the 72 Fins went 18-0.
To come within 35 seconds of being 19-0 is a huge dissapointment but anyone who knows anything about sports knows their is nothing to be ashamed of.They got beat by the one team that earned right to be on the same field as them. Those that hate the Pats can jump around with glee as I would have.No problem. But most of you guys know what time it is and you might not like the Pats but in your heart of hearts respect what they have accomplished.
As an RX'er that comes on here and had fun all year arguing and hating sports teams. It has been the most enjoyable year in sports I've ever had.
And I can thank the New England Patriots for that.

VD is right. Also if they were 18-1 but their 1 loss was not the superbowl, then there would be talk of one of the greatest teams of all time. However you can not say they are best of all time because they are not even the Champs for this year. Should have lost that game to the eagles or ravens and then ran the table from there. :ohno:

what you really need is a pic of how close the ball came to hitting the ground...only Tyree landing on Harrison's legs kept that ball 1 inch from off the ground and from popping out.

...or the two possible interceptions on the final drive, or the fourth down conversion, or if they had just pulled Eli down for a sack.

$5500 dollar swing for me, I'm bitter.

True that.
But its like those games shows.
Do you want to keep your new microwave or do you want to go for the big prize behind door #1?

they did everyone in the sports world a favor and went for it...love em or hate em....but they were on everyones radar....how about your team?
