Pretty much every team has its share of hype each year, especially going into a season, if you're paying attention to that kind of thing.
You seem to pay attention to hype more than most here. In the big scheme of things , it means very little.
I pay attention to it and laugh at it

More so I laugh at people falling for it

Nothing wrong with it

lol speaking of "falling" for things besides joe Joe ...Red is the last guy who should be talking about "falling" for anything...

Russell Wilson +250 for comeback player of the year...value I think.
Darrell Hamlin's double the favorite to win at -285.. no value.

Do you mean +2500
+250 is horrible value on that play
It’s over +2000 everywherr

And Hamlin winning the award is basically a formality at this point . I bet Hamlin back when he was +330 months ago

You know the press is in love already with DH...it's a long season plus he's just average at best.

good luck..mostly shopping odds haven't bought any futures but the Wilson odds... I like.

I’m on Hamlin for decent amount

Unless it’s revealed he’s really dead and sheriff joe was right all along, I’d be reasonably surprised if he didn’t win

also think Wilson is done but even if he jumps over the defense from midfield gonna be tough to beat Hamlin

Nah man Russ is done

Maybe worth a shot in Lamar or Dobbins if Ravens get rolling

Though Hamlin may have it locked up if he is a regular player

Sam Darnold is a back up.
He shouldn't be +1200

I think all Hamlin needs to do is play at least 1 play in the regular season .

This has nothing to do with how good or bad he is .
Nobody is saying he’s better then Tua or Calvin Ridley .

That’s not the point .
The point is he is coming back from the dead and playing again .

That’s all he needs to do .
Don’t matter how many tackles he makes or INTs he gets .

If it was about performance on the field he would not even be a candidate .

I thought comeback player had to do with your performance on the field from one year to the next. Not from coming back from the dead (literally).

Good points ... despite the criteria for voting.

Alex Smith did more than Hamlin but really didn’t do a whole lot in the year he won, he just came back from a life threatening injury and nearly having his leg amputated

Hamlin deserves it if he truly survived the deadly Covid vaccine

Was just gonna say

wtf is Darnold doing there lol
In a normal year where you don’t have a player who came back from the dead I could see a path for Darnold .
It would require Purdy getting injured early in the year but it could happen

The former 3rd pick of the draft been a bust everywhere he goes takes over for an injured Purdy in week 3 and SF goes 14-3

That would be his path in a normal year
