Not as much, but in general yes. Far, far less sheep watch it though. Many moderates and liberals are younger, don't watch as much TV, and don't have the need to have their views affirmed on a nightly basis. That's why when Fox tells their mindless sheep that Romney's winning, they don't even question it, they buy it hook, line and sinker, and act shocked when the real info comes in, and he gets blown out of the water.

Dang guys, they're basically warning us sane, normal members of society that you guys are a bigger threat to our safety than ISIS. Not that I didn't know that already but I'm much more worried about some crazy ass dude in a Tea Party shirt going postal because he has to pay taxes, the President being black or having to stop at red lights than some Muslim dudes. You know you're fucking crazy when you are more dangerous than a group like ISIS.

What on G-d's green earth does this have to do with Terrorism??? Get yourself together dude.

DHS classified the extremists as terrorists cause they targeted law enforcement... Should be a 2-way street

2 way street?? What are you talking about? A random burglar(of any race, have no idea why you brought up race) committing a crime and firing on Police responding to the crime, is the same as Domestic Terrorists who might target Law Enforcement because they don't believe in our laws or Political system? You know I respect you and your views but I have no idea where you are coming from, or what you're trying to get at here.

'Normal' people don't squat on a website all day for the sole purpose of arguing with people they've labelled insane.

Actually, it was an assessment written by a few people in a useless federal agency. It isn't "they're" as there is no DHS report endorsed by the Agency as a whole.

But of course you're too fucking stupid to understand that.

Many DHS employees have said in the annual government “viewpoint” survey of federal employees that their senior leaders are ineffective; that the department discourages innovation, and that promotions and raises are not based on merit. Others have described in interviews how a stifling bureaucracy and relentless congressional criticism makes DHS an exhausting, even infuriating, place to work.

Fantastic stuff Aki. We almost had a very vivid, and tragic example of this with the sick Cliven Bundy followers crap. Luckily nothing fatal happened that time, but the day will come unfortunately when one of those insane idiots won't care, and will open fire 1st. And the usual scum here and in the media will cheer them on.

Um, you said Bill Ayers isn't a terrorist.

The fact that you would comment here is surreal.

The suspect wasn't approached by police and had no interaction with him. He simply walked up and shot hin

You guys seem awfully hostile defending the fact you aren't extremists. Kind of ironic, if you ask me.

This report is really stretching the definition of terrorism. Terrorism is basically mass murder accompanied by blackmail. But the purpose of terrorism is to force a government and its society into submission, and that's the missing ingredient here. The scum who formed al Queda calculated in their own minds that if they could murder 400,000 Americans we would "Submit" to the will of Allah. So basically for AQ it was, "Look at what we just did to you. You thought you were invincible. If you don't "Submit" we will attack again and again until you do!" These jihadis are all of the same mindset.

Now let's look at the right wing extremists. These guys are social outcasts. Losers in life who have had misfortune and failure. To absolve themselves of blame for their failures it's someone elses' fault, like the government. They somehow see the government as infringing upon them and they want to live outside its laws and societal norms. But unlike islamic terrorists these guys are not of the same mindset. They all are angry failures for a different and non-united set of circumstances. They probably couldn't get along with each other well enough to form a cohesively large organization. That's why you hear the term "Lone Wolf" so often. I just don't get worried about a bunch of white guys blowing up a jet because they hate to wait in line at the DMV.

Good post...One thing I will say though is that we live in different times and with the internet really any groups ability to form, organize and mobilize has become easier than ever. A downside to completely open communication means even the crazies can leverage it.

Say you had 1 nutjob per town 15 years ago, well now they can all get together through technology. ISIS has used tech for recruitment better than any terrorist organization ever.
