Now here is the REAL article....

Washington (CNN) They're carrying out sporadic terror attacks on police, have threatened attacks on government buildings and reject government authority.

A new intelligence assessment, circulated by the Department of Homeland Security this month and reviewed by CNN, focuses on the domestic terror threat from African-American racebaiters who scream racism every chance they get, and comes as the Obama administration holds a White House conference to focus efforts to fight violent racism.

Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from African-American racebaiter groups as equal to -- and in some cases greater than -- the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS, that garner more public attention.

The Homeland Security report, produced in coordination with the FBI, counts 1.8 million violent attacks across the U.S. since 2010.

The government says these are African-American racebaiters who believe that they can ignore laws and that their individual rights are under attack in routine daily instances such as a traffic stop or being required to obey a court order.

They've lashed out against authority in incidents such as one in 2014, in which an African-American was accused of murdering two police officers in cold blood, while they sat in their police cruiser in New York. Both officers were killed in the confrontation. The man was an African-American who claimed police had no authority over them, and was retribution for the killing of Mike Brown.

Among the findings from the Homeland Security intelligence assessment: "African-American racebaiters violence during 2015 will occur most frequently during routine law enforcement encounters at a suspect's home, during enforcement stops and at government offices."

Aki posted a real article, with real conclusions. You posted racist nonsense. I know you're not a racist, so why would you play in their playground?

Your convenient pass on answering post #46 solidifies your reputation on this site. You blindly follow anything this administration puts out. The Fort Hood incident alone killed 12 and injured over 30 people, all in the name of Allah. Work place violence? Bullshit and every even minded US citizen knows it. Never mind the September 2014 beheading of a woman in Oklahoma by a recently converted Muslim, emulating the earlier ISIS beheading of an American citizen. Scores of other incidents and you focus on a DHS report put out by one of the least transparent administrations in history.

Not going to stoop to name calling but I will say that you are an intellectually dishonest person who claims to be open minded. When presented with hard facts you lack the integrity to admit that you are wrong and then go on a juvenile rampage calling people you disagree with childish, immature names. You claim to question everything. Maybe it makes you feel good when you verbally belittle people who call bullshit on your comments but it is actually an indictment on your character. It takes a man to admit when he is wrong, it takes a child to resort to name calling.

Maybe your buddy Guesser can answer for you since you apparently can't put together a sentence without an insult. At least answer the question about Dr. Carson being put on the watch list because of his stance on traditional marriage. Do you see any hypocrisy here? The same exact stance Obama took in 2008. Come on man!

Nothing in this post or post 46 or any other post in this thread disputes the original post Aki posted from CNN about DHS warning about Extreme Anti Gov't Loons being a growing threat. Since no one can deal with that fact,, they resort to the usual insult game against the poster, and against Obama, and whatever else, because they can't dispute the original post.
Has DHS put Dr Carson on any kind of terrorist or extremist watch list?

The Southern Poverty Law Center and DHS work hand in hand. A visit to their website will show that they use the same maps and verbiage in their press releases.

It's not the messenger that is the problem here, it is the message. To state that The Sovereign Rights Movement (SRM) is more of a threat than ISIS or ISIL is ludicrous. The SRM consists of a bunch of bat shit crazy individuals more interested in stealing land via frivolous lawsuits than harming innocent Americans. ISIS would cut your head off if given a chance, SRM would cut off an acre of your land and file never ending lawsuits to steal it. Severing land or severing heads, you tell me who represents the biggest threat. As a seemingly reasonable individual do you see the insult to our intelligence? If you can't, that's fine, I respect the opinion. At least you can comment without insults.

To the Ben Carson point and to the credit of The Southern Poverty's credit, I visited their website and noticed that they retracted their statement and have apologized to Dr. Carson. As a pro gay marriage advocate, I disagree with Dr. Carson on this point but I consider him to be a good man with whom I disagree with on more than one issue. Ten years ago I would have agreed with him wholeheartedly. It appears that the true hate is coming from the groups that disagree with him. To lump him in with true hate groups was simply bullshit and the SPLC got hammered by many for their designation.

It's ok to call bullshit if you hear bullshit. I question everything I read and hear, even if I agree politically with the bullshitter.

I'm hearing bullshit here and calling bullshit, lol. I'll listen to the DHS report, and not some internet conservative clown who's obsessed with some loon doctor that's not even mentioned in the article.

What made you come around on Gay Marriage?

Modern Family?

My wife's brother is gay. Ignorance was the only excuse I had until he came out. I have learned a great deal over the past 10 years. My kids love him and I would trust him with my life. Quite honestly, the subject just never comes up. My father in law had a tougher time with it than anyone else.

Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from sovereign citizen groups as equal to -- and in some cases greater than -- the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS, that garner more public attention.

The government says these are extremists who believe that they can ignore laws and that their individual rights are under attack in routine daily instances such as a traffic stop or being required to obey a court order.

They've lashed out against authority in incidents such as one in 2012, in which a father and son were accused of engaging in a shootout with police in Louisiana, in a confrontation that began with an officer pulling them over for a traffic violation. Two officers were killed and several others wounded in the confrontation. The men were sovereign citizen extremists who claimed police had no authority over them.

Among the findings from the Homeland Security intelligence assessment: "(Sovereign citizen) violence during 2015 will occur most frequently during routine law enforcement encounters at a suspect's home, during enforcement stops and at government offices."
DHS has documented examples of violence by sovereign citizen extremists since 2010. They range from incidents that occurred in the home and at traffic stops to attacks on government buildings.

The report adds that "law enforcement officers will remain the primary target of (sovereign citizen) violence over the next year due to their role in physically enforcing laws and regulations."

While groups like ISIS and al Qaeda garner the most attention, for many local cops, the danger is closer to home.

A survey last year of state and local law enforcement officers listed sovereign citizen terrorists, ahead of foreign Islamists, and domestic militia groups as the top domestic terror threat.

The survey was part of a study produced by the University of Maryland's National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism.

The report is accurate and factual. It's talking about Terrosists and potential terrorists on US Soil. How many ISIS incidents have happened on US soil? Fact is, a local cop in just about anywhere USA faces more danger making a traffic stop, or trying to get some bozo to obey a court order, by an extremist Wacko of any kind, than an ISIS terrorist presently, and that's what the report was saying. Again we almost had a horrific incident with those nut cases in Nevada with Cliven Bundy. And the freakin media and extreme nuts, like on this website, were cheering them on. So the danger is very real. And that was far more a few batshit crazy individuals interested in stealing land via frivolous lawsuits. They were in fact, threatening to blow the heads off innocent Americans, the guys out there doing there jobs trying to enforce the law.

In researching the SPLS for my reply, I see that has become a Right wing Blogosphere meme to try and pint the DHS and SPLC as one and the same. That's so ludicorous, I don't even know where to begin.

I don't get what you want me to say. If you think you have convinced me that the DHS is lying about an increase in right wing extremism, you haven't. Seems like just a lot of babbling and logical fallacies. Just like with economics, global warming, etc, I will listen to the experts. They haven't lied to me yet. Only liars I've encountered are on the internet.

Akphi you're getting owned in your own thread. When was the last time you took a break from this place? Go have some fun. See a show or something. I recommend.....

I think this is fair, I also think Joe should take a break as well. If that really is his FB page he spends his entire life on the net obsessed, wacko obsessed. I think he should get a hobby, I like to dabble down here for entertainment but you have to look at yourself and get a life.

Republican??? I read the article 3 times, trying to find the word Republican. It wasn't there. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, but if you want to call Sharpton and Jesse racebaiters, I'm right there with you. But what does that have to do with this topic??

Those extremists struck again at Law enforcement!!!

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police arrested a 43-year-old man Saturday after the early morning wounding of an officer who investigators believe was shot because he was a member of the police force.

The man was arrested on suspicion of violating his probation, burglary and aggravated domestic assault, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit.ly/1Fb0whs). Any connection to the shooting early Saturday is still under investigation, assistant police chief Matt Clark said at an afternoon news conference.

According to police, the officer and his partner had just handled a burglary and domestic assault call and were standing by their squad car at around 5 a.m. when someone shot the officer. His partner drove him to a hospital, where he was in fair condition Saturday afternoon, Clark said.

The woman who made the 911 call reporting the apparent burglary and domestic assault was known to the man, according to police.

"It's clear to us that the officer was shot in response to the call," Clark said.

Chief Janee Harteau met with the officer and his family at the hospital, the department said in a news release.

"This is a reminder to all that every one of our officers face such danger simply because they choose to wear a uniform," she said in a statement.

In a news release, Mayor Betsy Hodges called the shooting a "cowardly act."

- BTW... the terrorist was a black man, named Andrew Neal

You do have one thing to look forward to, 2015 should be a great year for you. According to the Chinese Calendar, 2015 is The Year of the Sheep.

As of now, I don't believe that our government publishes a list of Asian holidays or calendars so I have attached a link for you. Run it by your local Senator or Congressman to confirm the validity, they will never tell you a lie.

I tried to tell him black people aren't a terrorist organization, but I don't think he cares. Apparently blacks committing crimes is left wing extremism in his mind. Very weird.
