I agree with everything Illini is saying.

He never said anybody is better than MJ in the all-around and "now".

The " in your eye" comment is fantastic.

Curry is playing in the worst era of the NBA....would he be doing this if he played in the 80's thru the early 2000's, hell no. He is the best of his era. No his fault, but the chips fell in order for him

He would have been knocked around so much, he would be half the player. Amazing what he does though

Nonsense.

The current front 300 NBA players are the tallest, heaviest and most athletic collection in league history.

The 80s and 90s NBA is an entirely different game. How a 2016 player would perform in that different setting is moot...as relevant as arguing how Mike Trout and Bryce Harper would do against Bob Gibson and Warren Spahn

IILINI has been dutifully shamed for his poor NFL skills analysis (Tebow will play in NFL for a Long Time), but he righteously notes the utter dominance Steph Curry brings to today's NBA.

The game continues to be led by LBJ in the front court and by Curry in the backcourt. No immediate overt competition

Don't agree at all.

The game now is so different than when those guys played in the 80s and 90s. They are really two different games. No hand checking etc. Bird and MJ were absolutely destroyed going to the hoop against the Bad Boys etc. If they did that now, a guy would be ejected. Then, it was just considered a hard foul.

I debated this question with my buddy last night so I'll ask it here.

Is S. Curry and all around better PG than Magic, Oscar or Stockton? Not shooter but overall PG?

Stephen Curry is the best PG of all time - PERIOD - he is on Jordans ass - he is doing things no one has ever done - 3 steps in from half court is simply in his wheel house - of course he needs a couple more rings

Don't think he's as good of a PG as Magic, Oscar or Stockton but that's just me.

Enfuego you like Stockton that much? Over time people just look at career numbers but in their primes nobody would take him over Isiah. He was regularly outplayed in the playoffs by other guards as well.

The Glove used to own him all the time

If GS beats OKC, SA and the Cavs for a title I will have seen all I need out of Curry to know that it's him and Jordan

OKC/SA will prob play rd 2

Should be a great series, especially the contrast in how the teams are set up. OKC having the 2 best players but really being deficient after that and SA being strong 1-9.

You want to debate someone that Steph Curry is not a great shooter/player?

It`s 2016 not 1980 or 1990.....The guy has been tearing up the NBA the last 2 seasons.

The guy wins a championship last season along with the league MVP.

Good chance his team wins another championship and he wins another league MVP.

Give it a rest......Agree on something for once in your life.

The Warriors really do have the perfect team for him as well. Green is probably the best pick and roll guy you could have for Curry. When he catches the ball in the midrange/3pt area there really isn't a ton you can do with his bball IQ. Best option is to just hope he misses some 3's but he is a way better offensive player than last year. Most people who just watch the playoffs probably think "Ehh GS, they struggled with Cleveland with all their injuries" but Green's development basically added an all-star to a 65 win team.

Coaching matters more than people think too. Mark Jackson had no clue how to coach that team, I remember watching them in preseason early last year and thinking they were going to get significantly better by getting rid of him. Curry is better than he was 2 years ago, but he probably could've been unleashed like this sooner.

Guy has MVP status and is still so nervous with his mouth piece chewing its funny. We are witnessing the best shooter ever in the game, hands down. He has no range limitation.

I live in the bay area and was a Warriors season ticket holder. We were not very good until Steph came along. Every year we got better and I believe this team they have is one of the best teams ever ! As far as Steph goes how could you not like the guy? He doesnt act like he is above anybody and he works hard to improve every day. What I watched last night was an assassination of the Thunder. About time for the doubters to realize they are watching true greatness !

As far as pure PG's go. Yes.
