He doesn't shoot 40% from 35 feet. Come on now Illini.
Pretty close. He shoots before games from the half court circle, and it's a normal jump shot for him. He'd hit 70% from the 3 point line, just shooting with nobody guarding him. I don't think 40% is unrealistic, and 33% is absolutely doable for Superman.

You're saying right now, in his 6th year in the league, S. Curry is the 2nd greatest player in the history of the game?

He's a great shooter and scorer but to be in that kind of company, you have to play some sort of D in my book. That's just me though.
I love him. He's flat out amazing to me. One of a kind. Yes, I give Jordan the nod because of his defense. But I don't know how you begin to try to design a defense to stop this guy. "All he does is shoot, that doesn't make him great." Bullshit. If you could stop him, you would.

I hope you haven't actually contemplated Curry being better than Jordan? That's not what you're saying is it?

Don`t even argue with that guy......LOL......Curry is the best PURE SHOOTER in history.....Not even close.

Michael is still the greatest though.

Easily the best playing today

Way too early and unnecessary to go beyond that

36% from beyond 39 ft.
67% from beyond 28 ft.

I don't know what it is if you factor in tonight, but it's sick regardless.

Best pure shooter ever. It was awesome to watch him do this in these little high school size gyms in the little Southern Conference back in College also. Spectacular to watch. Jaw dropping...

Jordan is unquestionably the greatest player ever. Curry is pretty close to being that as a shooter. When you can pull up from damn near half court & make it look like a layup in terms of ease, you are on another planet.

This is exactly what I'm saying. Mike is the best ever, I'll never put anyone ahead of him. Even if I'm wrong, I'll hold onto that bias, because he was the perfect player. As a shooter, Curry is the Michael Jordan of shooting. There are great shooters, then there are elite pure cash lifetime shooters. Then there is the best shooter ever. Then way higher than that guy is Steph Curry.

Curry is playing in the worst era of the NBA....would he be doing this if he played in the 80's thru the early 2000's, hell no. He is the best of his era. No his fault, but the chips fell in order for him

He would have been knocked around so much, he would be half the player. Amazing what he does though

Curry is a solid defender. He is 4th in the league in steals.

Insanely impressive. Majority of his shots are off the dribble with a defender right on him.

The ball handling ability coupled with his shooting is a deadly combination which I haven't seen, at least in my generation.

The shot in OT to win it is mind blowing. I used to shoot that far out after practice goofing off to try and show my range. This guy did it with the game on the line in OT of an NBA game. Ridiculous.

I think he's an average defender. Think steals is a poor indicator of defensive ability. He can't get off screens because of his size. He is quick and has quick hands hence the reason he has so many steals.

Curry has hit bird level in the 80s.. Where you simply don't know what he's going to do next and you certainly don't want to miss it. Traditional numbers don't tell the story.

The game shouldn't have went to OT - unreal choke job by Thunder in the last 10 seconds, but Curry is so sick. KD was pretty deadly last night as well
