You need to set the tone and tell them that either they take a payment plan that you can afford or they will get nothing their choice. They are not going to kill you over 11K, most bookies put forth a tough exterior but are really pussies. Be assertive and tell them like it is, also if you are "connected" in the neighborhood use this to your advantage. I would also recommend getting your PAL just in case.
