If you look at sectors today, the market following a much more normal pattern of risk off....The FAANGs, the high beta stuff selling off harder and the staples/divi stocks doing a little better.....The last 3 weeks weren't like that. Big tech outperformed.

Romney calling for UBI of 1k per month, seems kinda stupid as the goal should be getting money to those that were effected in crisis.

Another rip for miners, perhaps people waking up to the fiscal insanity. GDXJ up over 50% off Friday lows and 22% today alone, that will get a bug's dick hard.

Also, another day in which the staples/divis outperform the high beta stuff even in a bright green day. Just because all the big tech firms are quasi-monopolies doesn't mean they won't get hit hard in recessionary environment, they are extremely cyclical and that will hit earnings.

the above VIX chart- NO closing days below the 8 ema duirng its spectacular run. The bears just riding it . And today it did not close below, stretched from and reverted to the mean. Tomorrow she may test it. We shall see. A close below the 8 ema on the vix? something has finally changed, get the O2 masks off the bulls

It started with Nixon, but the Clintons took it to a whole different level. Over the years, I always threw up in my mouth a little each time I heard politicians from all sides kissing China's ass - until Trump. By the time Trump announced his candidacy, the military was relying on parts made in Chinese factories... insane!

Larry Kudlow said they are working on a package to bring all these companies back to the US, loaded with incentives, zero taxes, write-offs etc.
