Wrong. I'm judging him on his words and actions, which is a pretty fair way to judge someone.
"We have it totally under control, it's only 1 person coming in from China"
"We only have 15 infected, it'll be 0 soon"
"One day it's a miracle, it will disappear like magic"
"Miraculously it'll disappear by April"
No action for 2 months while he called it a Hoax.
Does that sound like someone who believes it's a serious Pandemic or a Hoax?
The truth, of course, lies somewhere in between.
He overestimated our ability to be able to beat it fast and/or underestimated the severity of the situation.
And/or overzealously tried to calm the masses to avoid an economic downturn in CASE it turned out to be nothing - which I have no problem with, as long as preparations are being made in the background.
People make mistakes. What's important is how he has handled the situation since, which most sane people agree has been commendable.
Really the one and only thing the TDS crowd criticizes is that he verbally downplayed it initially. It's just how he talks. He's an idiot.
But you don't need to exaggerate what he has said or not said. He never called it a hoax.
Words or lack or words are not the same as actions or lack of actions. That's what y'all can't understand. He hasn't done any less or taken any less serious measures than other presidents have under similar circumstances.
Go get a hobby or something. Jesus.
