Cold affects the game, some teams more than others, some QBs more than others, some WRs more than others, and when you get to negative wind chill it is very significant, players cannot perform at 100% levels, no way.
Yes wind affects the game more if it is >15, sure.
But cold does matter.

Does it matter more than teams not thinking about getting home field advantage in playoffs?

Cold isn’t the focus imo. Offense has tiny edge in cold cold. Granted you have to figure out if each team is somewhat anemic on offense. Cold cold the thing I’d say is on defense you are a bit slower. Hard to explain, but you just move a little less quicker and hitting can be more sloppy. Tackling can be sloppy in cold cold. Again, defense is a react while offense is far less reaction

Wind is the over killer. Hinders kicking and passing obviously. And changes play calling.

Snow is over equity due to offense with such an advantage on knowing where vs defense having to react. Footing is easier on offense vs defense. Offense is more vertical movement vs defense lateral and timing and reaction. You can pass in snow much easier than most think. Big advantages in passing actually. Running as well as premeditated movements are typically small short burst. And often vertical. Vs a horizontal reaction to defense. Hard getting to the edge on pressure, play action is harder to react to and usually causes a bit more hesitation as the run is more expected. DBs have it tough. Back peddling bad footing vs one cut WR and more vertical movements. DB May need 3-4 cuts alone reading a pass play. LBs can’t move horizontally as quick. DE can’t get up field and use speed as much.

Value to overs in snow snow!
Value to unders Windy windy
Value to unders windy cold cold
Value to overs cold cold
Heavy rain n wet fields are tricky. More turnovers and defense can flip fielding etc limiting possession times on scoring drives etc. can go both ways sloppy rain
Well said. These games fall into the windy cold cold category. I can’t imagine playing in that shit. Like you said, cold is not a problem but 10 degrees with crazy wind seems impossible to move the ball through the air. That ball will be a rock and probably slick due to it being hard and basiclaly frozen.

i did a lil research and found some evidence that weather doesnt really have an impact on the games. You might want to adjust a lil though cause he considers november cold.
You get some cold and cold cold in November just like you get some 50-60 degrees in December. Just depends.

Giants and Bears games vs lions were mid-high 20’s wind chill low low 30’s temp kickoff

Is there really a difference in 25 degree and 16 degree and 5 degrees? End of the day cold is cold. Nobody really notices a difference in 28 degrees and 12 degrees (no wind) Toss in wind though and it’s different. Shit can cut through ya it feels like

It's nothing more than a mere preference for me. I don't want Houston on the road up there at frostbite falls. I'm not trying to figure out the oddsmakers adjustment for 9 degrees or retired backs big days in elements.

Weather for tonight should be in mid 40s. Wind is supposed to be brutal tommorow starting tonight around 10pm. Rain pushes in around noon. I remember jags vs Philly Lawrence did let a few balls get away from him in the rain but manageable. i Will take my chances with the better qb and receiving targets. Of course the jets can win this and stop the bleeding but going with momentum in this one. Rather see the jags have a shot at division at least they can represent the afc south with some dignity this year. Both afc and nfc south are a reflection of each other this year doesn’t mean they can’t heat up .

You just do not get it.

Last week most top teams w 97-99% playoff or divisional champ status did not cover. Look it up. Go ahead, please respond truthfully.

They had it made and knew they would not lose all 4 remaining games so they did not go all out hair on fire for 4 quarters.

You just do not get it.

It really is quite hilarious...these are the dudes EXACT WORDS

They might get fired up and beat a frozen stiff Miami team, but the last thing on the players mind is the #1 seed.

And instead of just saying "whoops, i had no idea what I was talking about", he wants to gaslight and make it like we dont get it and responds with some convoluted reinvention about points spreads and who is covering , then tries to throw it back on me .....lol at "please respond truthfully"

Miami played their asses off, Buffalo played their asses off,,,,,no one let up because they were cruising or not worried about winning.
