The Crimson Tide handed down the punishments to Green, Trevor Releford and Andrew Steele before Saturday’s 67-58 loss to the LSU Tigers, leaving Alabama with only four regular players in the rotation. The program suspended second-leading scorer Tony Mitchell earlier last week.
Head coach Anthony Grant did not reveal any specifics about the suspensions, which he tagged as indefinite, but he did say he was disappointed ''in the choices and decisions made'' by his players.
The four suspended players average a total of 45.4 points per game – 69 percent of Alabama’s offense. The Crimson Tide play Florida at home on Tuesday.
Alabama is 3-5 straight up and 2-6 against the spread over its last eight games
