I was at the PGA at Hazeltine. Early in the day I saw Sergio almost jar a par three. He damaged the hole and groups afterwards kept looking at why it was deformed.

It was near the end of the day. Holes 9 and 18 run next to each other. I commented that we had not seen any real bad shots. Literally a minute later Sergio hit his tee shot right into the woods between the two holes. I go running over to his ball like those idiots you see on TV and I am standing over the ball. My son comes running over wondering what I am doing.

The marshals clear out this path for him to bunch back into the fairway. Sergio comes up and looks at his ball and mumbles something about he sure is making a mess on this last hole. He looks at his options and tells the marshals to clear out the area straight ahead. I still remember the marshal questioning his decision and the fact he already had cleared the crowd for him to bunch a shot back into the fairway.

They get the crowd cleared out for him to go straight. He has to hit a shot under this first large tree and then get it to rise over the next tree. Once he gets past that.....he could get up in the range of the green. There is a huge scoreboard on that side of the green.

He is getting ready to hit his shot and this little boy is behind the first big tree. He pops his head out to see Sergio's shot. Sergio stops and looks at the kid and said "Dont do that". So the kid hides behind the tree again.

Sergio hits his shot under the first tree....over the next group of trees......then puts a fade on the ball over the big scoreboard and lands it on the green. Two put for a ho hum par.

He also rented a home next to a friend of mine. He said Sergio would come out and play soccer with the kids in the neighborhood. He had nothing but good things to say about Sergio and how he treated the kids in the neighborhood.

In the practice rounds he signed hundreds of autographs for kids (most of the european's would do it between holes.... Harrington, Westwood etc. ). Duvall was world number one at the time.....he was an ass and didnt sign one autograph for any kid. I never rooted for him in another tournament after that. I tend to judge famous people by how they treat kids. Sergio definitely gets my thumbs up for that.

Sergio is an ahole. I would guesstimate 95% of his peers can't stand him. Acts like a little baby when things don't go his way. At Doral he was playing bad and actually spit in the cup on one of the holes. Got DQ'd from a tourney in Saudi Arabia for damaging the greens on purpose.

McIlroy is hinting may go DeChambeau on us, lol. Hasnt won a major since forever, chap might snap

.......

On Instagram, McIlroy displayed himself achieving extraordinary numbers (349-yard carry and 191 mph ball speed!) with a TaylorMade SIM/Fujikura Ventus Black combo, and it has left our members very excited for his return.

.............

there's a new driver shaft coming out of Korea, no fuckin way it will be legal. But for us diehard recreational players, maybe worth a look

Arnie's tournament, Bryson had the wind and gave it a whirl. Contending , so ballsy to try, fans wanted it and he played along. Super cool......if the wind again is favorable does he try on Championship Sunday? guy has no fear, i think so

1:27- wow

Westwood with the lead at age 47? .....Spieth in contention again, ........should be a fun Sunday

That shot was amazing. He cleared the water by about twenty yards. Maybe today he goes for the green.
