Don’t really agree with increase points finish in FedEx. Morikawa won a major, bit more rewarding than a 2nd place finish.

Not shocked English that high owned. He has been in a zone of late. Draining crazy putts, chipping great, striking fairways and just on. I thought his odds 35-1 were off by form. I have a gut he doesn’t play too great but his form and stats say he should.

Scott seems very high. Would have thought Wolff was higher

a cool opening 3-putt from 17 feet for Rory, as he misses the three-footer coming back for par. Hmm, maybe try putting with a straight-jacket on?

What’s the course playing like from eye test? Anybody able to watch any?

Finau is a guy I root for, and hope to be a pick when he gets a big win finally. But I just couldn’t get behind this week.

Rory just can’t putt.

I'm watching featured groups on NBC sports gold or whatever it is called. DJ's iron play is struggling early on. Greens are firm and rough is high. Could get crazy hard if greens keep drying out.

I'm watching. Playing really tough, hard to control spin on approach shots.
It's refreshing, got sick of watching 11 birdie rounds last week. When Scottie Scheffler is shooting in the 50s you know your course is easy.

Nice to hear! I had feeling the greens would be faster than advertised. And it may be real hard to slow em down with the heat.

Finally some Golf that’s not a video game. Winning score may be -9 if the greens get away over weekend. If it plays long with slick greens then some value may sit in your more steady guys who aren’t bombers. Be nice to see some odds after days 1-2 with sneaky value.

About time we get a tough course. This is more enjoyable imo.

Pretty ideal. Not too tough, like Saturday at the Memorial when +2 was a good score, but tough. There are birdies out there but it's not easy pick'uns.

Atta boy Gooch and Day! Lol at least it makes it easy to find their scores. Just scroll all the way to the bottom.

Mackenzie Hughes +300 T20

been playing some nice golf of late very quietly.

Taylor Gooch +400 T20

bit of nice golf of late as well.

Both a few spots outside top 30 to advance. They may be dialed in for a steady 4 rounds.

Mackenzie is off to a nice start for you...good call. Good luck with him the rest of the way.

Not many low scores on the board.

Good start. Lot of golf though for him. Gooch looking to catch an early flight though.

1st round leader picks 1-5 each way

Mackenzie, Gooch, Niemman all 80-1
Todd Ancer Palmer and Louie ooie all 60-1

Some potential brewing for round 1 leader picks

i just had one of the tour's worst putters drop a 67 footer on his final hole to take outright lead to clubhouse. insane

:21 sec - de-weights the lead foot, back to the target, lead shoulder is actaully behind his back foot!!!! .....

usually a losing strategy to over-emphasize one round but Rory was the only player to post top-5 stats both off the tee and on approach (driver and irons). He missed 3 or 4 putts from inside of 4 feet (!!!) otherwise would be tied or leading

same shit as last week for JT. lost another 1.5 strokes to the field on the greens...very strange for him. was even through 15 and then 3 straight bogeys including a 3 putt from middle of the green on final hole

the course, especially the greens/rough, are playing a lot like The Memorial did on Sunday. The best on that day (who are playing this week) were Fitzpatrick, Xander, Reed, Hughes, English, Horschel and Conners

Yeah I'm adding Fitz live today around 25/1
Like his game for this type of course
