In these police shooting cases, why don’t we ever have one where the police come right out and admit wrong-doing from the start? Is there never an incident where the police look back and say, “Wow, we totally fucked up and this is 100% our fault?”
Good point...

Very rarely do we see police or just about any public figure from politicians to celebrities ever come out and admit wrong doing from the start...Whatever the incident is they try to hide it or make it go away etc...before they come out and admit guilt/apology when backed against the wall with the real facts.

I have always had more respect for those who come out off the jump and admit guilt/remorse for whatever bad decision was made. It makes them more credible I believe.

I have never seen that. I doubt it has happened. Cops cover for each other among other things.
I know lots of cops and they tell me stories

And why would they not admit fault? Why is that?

Oh, because maybe there will be a court case in the future right? Come on man, use some critical thinking skills.

Maybe tone down the “better than us” tone. We get it you are right 100% on everything and us little people couldn’t possibly understand.

Mac has a great point! There are plenty of times cops know they fucked up and could just save face and say so. But you are saying they don’t because they want to see if they can slide by “legally” in a court case. Basically out lawyer someone...

Charges have been dropped against the boyfriend...

The best thing that happened to these killer Louisville cops is those 2 red necks killing a unarmed black man in GA and then the cop killing this guy in MN...

It never ends...

Breonna Taylor would have been 27 years old today...

Why are people out protesting and so angry over a man killed by police who had a lengthy criminal record and had a number of drugs in his system at the time he encountered police who were only there because he used a fake 20?

Yet NO outrage...NO protest...NO anger...NO memorials for a women who was simply sleeping in her own home getting ready to go serve her community the next day being a EMT?

Why?

These instances MUST stop...

And I am saying not only the killing of folks but ALSO the protesting and outrage by misinformed people...

You have people in the streets all across this country ready to go to battle with police over and for a man that had meth and heroin in his system who had just committed a crime and was being combative with the officers.....Yet NO ONE is out there taking up the cause for a innocent law abiding woman murdered in her own home...face)(*^%

I really hope these FAKE protesters(both BLM supporters and the white Karen's of the world) really take a good hard look at who they choose to stand up for and who they ignore...

Lol you’re wilding. There’s no footage. You know the white supremacists need undeniable proof or it didn’t happen. Evident of post #43

People are numb to this shit dude. But they are still chanting her name from what I see. Look outside of your area.

Yes I agree with you on the no video footage...it sucks.

They tried to hem up the BF and all these protest I believe certainly played a part in letting that man walk free...

The cops were trying to pin attempted murder on him yet no charges for the officers who killed an innocent women...

Im not saying Floyd got what he deserved he certainly did not...

But there is a HUGE difference in cops being called out for a man who was high on meth and passing fake bills and a women who had ZERO criminal history who was sleeping in her own bed waiting to go serve her community the next day...

Bottom line Taylor was a MUCH better person and citizen than Floyd...

Floyd put himself in the position he was in dealing with the cops Taylor 100% did not...

Huge difference.

The cops were never called to Breonna Taylor’s house. They raided the wrong house and killed her.

Of course they are separate incidents.

I don’t care what he was high on, he never resisted arrest. They murdered him on camera for one reason and one reason only, because he was a black man. Nothing else to really say.

Apparently Seattle had a identical case where they are now reopening that investigation.

Police getting a pass for killing innocent people is what gets me period...Honestly race does not matter...

Look up Tony Timpa...

People are misinformed and the powers that be obviously like that...Protest are justified but there is too many stupid fucks out there who don’t have a clue and cherry pick what they want to protest...It’s a fucking joke and not going to accomplish shit.

No knock warrants outlawed in Louisville today...

This is the kind of change that needs to start in law enforcement...

What if the subject of the warrant is likely to hold someone hostage? lots of drugs get flushed down the toilet this way and a gives a loony toon a lot of time to load up - no knock warrants arent the problem - but it's like going to war - you can't be wrong - how fucken hard is it to make sure you have the right address and if there is any doubt at game time cancel

Don't get me wrong...I absolutely understand the dangers and down falls of serving warrants...But simple traffic stops can go from zero to deadly in a heart beat...

Law enforcement is a dangerous job...Made even more dangerous in the climate today...

But this is not the only instance where a no knock warrant has gone horribly wrong...not even close...

I can understand where no knock warrants have their place like you mentioned above...

There is no 100% way to know what you will encounter behind that door...

But their are other ways to gain evidence also...

There is just no easy answer...

But this is a start to get some peoples attention...

It is what is needed at this time.

Pretty good breakdown of the case. Excellent journalism.
I agree...

A great write-up of the events that led up to the shooting and the shooting itself...

I still 100% believe law enforcement completely bungled this situation that ended in the senseless death of a completely innocent women...

I understand Ms. Taylor associated with a known thug/drug dealer...

But those officers were absolutely TERRIBLE at their job...I mean reckless and should have been fired years before...

Still no word on which officers bullets struck and killed Ms. Taylor...If it was found that bullets fired from the officer who ran and fired blindly through the sliding glass door struck her...That man should be charged with murder...
