Ya they got quieter than the crowd in Buffalo on Sunday.

How hard do you think this would make unloading season tickets?

I'd think pretty hard but no clue what demand is like there.

There is still a 50k waiting list.

Im sure that number is about to get smaller but every ticket is sold out with season tickets since 2006.

The waiting list has only grown the last 5 years because you can sell your rights to buy season tickets on eBay for over 10k as of 2 years ago.

Thats the only way you can get tickets at face value

I'm pretty sure it was on Twitter (I don't know how to check for tweets from that day) but I had my "sources"

After I heard, I checked Twitter and there were hundreds of tweets speculating Brees was out for the season.

Rotator cuff injuries are hard to come back from especially being that he is 1 or 2 years from being done. I rather break my arm than have that if I were him. Rotator cuff is arm strength. This is why you see these 170 pounds guys in MLB throwing the ball 97 mph.

I wonder what took the sportsbook so long to figure that out if it was all over Twitter.
Me and you posted the info when it was still -3.

Pinnacle took the game off the board before I posted.

Other books took longer, for some reason.

much rather break arm if I was a pitcher or QB

broken bones a lot easier to come back from than the other stuff

put it in a splint and it heals (in most cases)

when you tear tendons and ligaments...

Does anyone think that people like Chris Mortenson andPeople like that that always gets inside scoop have sportsbook accounts and lay heavy money on a game right before making a big announcement on a big time injury before the public knows about it?

Those guys with connections could make a killing if they wanted to

I'm surprised one of these teams with QB issues hasn't traded for Chase Daniel. He's looked pretty solid the last few preseason's, but hasn't ever really gotten the shot to be the man.

The Saints were his first team and played great for the saints in preseason .

Im sure KC would never let him get away during the season

A bombshell like that comes along infrequently and it really wouldn't be worth risking your job to do anything like that for guys like Mort, Schefter, etc

If there was stuff like that going on, I'd think it would be the agents that might try something like that but who knows.

Where there could be a lot more value would be the NBA. Guys take games off for minor ailments over an 82 game season all the time. If you know what night that is going to happen in advance you could make a lot of $.

I think they would for the right price(More than Dallas paid for Cassel). He's on his last year, and The Chiefs like Aaron Murray, who is the same type of player.
