he was shot cause he attacked, assaulted a police officer (shattered the orbital bone, ...fortunately , officer didn't lose the eye)-the police officer felt his life was in danger and killed the chap. . A jury felt the police officer was in the right. Sorry.

I think in most cases it's the arrogance of a police officer & how he approaches & speaks to certain individuals, which escalates an issue.

There are ways to talk to people which could smooth almost any situation over, but you have some officers immediately acting gung-ho, instead of being respectful...
