I don't know why everyone is convinced Walt dies in the final episode? Maybe they just close with a final scene of Walt smiling to himself after he gets revenge on all his enemies( Uncle Jack and gang,Jesse, etc.) and also beating the cancer.

Certainly possible. Remember the last time he was coughing so much it was from the chemo. Having Walt exact his revenge and then not dying of cancer would be an interesting twist indeed and a great way for the writers to poke us all in the eye with a sharp stick.

i think you can say this about anything......for walt to load up on guns and take on nazis but yet eventually dying of cancer sounds like an interseting twist as well.

Interesting that the New Hampshire state motto is "Live Free or Die." Walt obviously leaving New Hampshire to exact his revenge.

I think Jesse survives the carnage and is left to raise Holly on his own. Everyone else dies.

My predictions:

- Standoff with Nazi but Walt uses his brain rather than braun to retrieve his money
- Schwartz' have $28m grant to create a drug treatment center in the southwest, Walt is gives his fortunate to the foundation
- The ricin is for Lydia's tea
- Walt dies, a gunshot from one of his family members, possibly Walt Jr.

would there be any social backlash if this series had ended with Walt killing everyone, and then living cancer free, jail free, with all of his money?

I want to say Jesse is going to be left alive at the end, however I keep remembering the episode in season 3 after he gets out of the "rehab" where he says he realizes he's a "bad guy".

I think Jesse lives, so he can take care of Brock.

Lydia - Dead

Todd and Uncle - Dead

Walt Jr. & Holly - Stay Alive

Skyler - Maybe dies, maybe kills Walt???

Marie - Wild Card... Maybe kills Skyler or Walt? She wants baby Holly awfully bad and hates Walt with a passion.

The "Felina" theory

Sunday's final episode is titled "Felina," which has sent the Internet scurrying to decode its potential meanings. One resourceful writer for Previously.TV has unearthed a Marty Robbins song, "El Paso," which has a character named Felina. In the song a jealous cowboy kills a rival who was flirting with his love, Felina, in a bar.

Two flash-forward scenes have offered clues about what might happen to Walt in Sunday's finale.

The cowboy flees town alone before returning for Felina some time later, only to be shot down in a face-off with five unseen men. Felina, says the writer, is a metaphor for Walt's criminal life -- the seductive power he feels when he's earning respect and millions of dollars.

Then again, "felina" is also an anagram for "finale." So it may just mean Gilligan is messing with us.

What legal claim would Jesse have to be able to raise Brock?

"Excuse me, Judge I know I'm a wanted criminal, drug addict and business partner to a crooked lawyer and meth kingpin, but I briefly dated this boy's mother and even though I am indirectly responsible for the fact that she was murdered on her front porch, I should be allowed to raise him."

zero legal claim. you think Jesse is going to go to child protection for this kid? He would just pick this kid up and take care of him with millions. He will be uncle Jesse....and eventually move in with Danny Tanner and uncle joey

Yeah, because when I think Jesse the first thing that pops in my head is "Legal." LOL
