Kowalczyk fell down and lost bunch of time , easy money . It's not over , now 12 advanced to the next round then 3 will advance to the finals from every of the two runs . Both are 1.85 now in h2h at betandwin live betting , this will be close between those two .

Knew Northug or Hetland would win this thing today and same with Follis and Majdic , if only I would bet 100 on every of those 4 , would be nice . Both h2h bets from men race cashed too .

No odds up yet so I will have to wait , think Roenning and Sundby will finish strong in 20 km race and maybe Axel Teichmann .

Actually won a bit with those h2h in men race and Majdic top 3 but didn't post them as official plays so wont count them for the record .

Sat 1/3

Start time : 03:00 AM PST

Tour de Ski 10 km Classic Mass Start Val di Fiemme

Marit Bjørgen vs Justyna Kowalczyk

My pick is Marit Bjørgen to finish ahead

Odds : - 172

Where : pinnaclesports

3.44 units to win 2 units

Bjorgen still has chances to win the whole Tour de Ski , she is ranked 3rd atm with two races left , she is some seconds behind Saarinen and Kuitunen in the overall standings but she is better than them in free technique skiing which will be the last race . Kowalczyk is solid as well but not as good as Bjorgen IMO especially in a mass start where many people can reach the final km together and then the sprinter should have the better cards , Bjorgen is the better one of the two here . I see Kuitinen as the winner today and Saarinen or Bjoergen in 2nd and 3rd places .

Looking for more bets at the moment .

Will Sami Jauhojärvi (FIN) finish in the top 6 ?

Last races he was in horrible shape and very slow . In 15 km race he was 40th and they give me those odds ? Count me in ... I see atleast 10 people who should finish ahead of him especially in that form and people fighting for Tour de Ski overall standings sure will try to finish high today .
Last year he finished 46th in this race .

This is 50/50 , if Rotchev can get into a good group he will finish high working with them together . Teichmann is usually good in races like this and Norway team obvious guys like Northug , Roenning or Sundby should all be in top 10 . Faded Sami Jauhojärvi here as I think he isn't at his best , even if he was I still think both guys I picked against him would be ahead .

This was bad ... all 3 bets right but Sami finished 2nd so other 3 bets with him were wrong ... so much for being in bad shape ...

Lost some yesterday , last race today , will update stats after both runs .

Sun 1/4

Start time : 04:00 AM PST

Cross Country Women: Tour de Ski Overall -Must start stage 7 for Action

Virpi Kuitunen vs Petra Majdic

My pick is Virpi Kuitunen to finish ahead

Odds : - 165

Where : pinnaclesports

8.25 units to win 5 units

Full start list here : http://www.tour-de-ski.com/pdf/2009/CC/2396/2009CC2396TDS.pdf

Kuitunen starts 49.1 seconds ahead of Majdic . Virpi isn't best in this style but neither is Majdic , usually big women have trouble in this race and Majdic is one of those . I don't think Kuitunen can lose 50 seconds to Majdic here in just 9 km , full stakes for me .

Bwin only has 1.45 odds on this h2h Kuitunen .

3 bets should be enough for women race , going to check out the conditions and see whats there for men race later .

Kuitunen won it all , was nice 4.00 odds on her . Follis clearly lost to Kowalczyk and the third bet was cancelled , guess one of them didn't start so + 4 units .

Sun 1/4

Start time : 06:30 AM PST

Cross Country - Men: Tour de Ski Overall -Must start stage 7 for Action

Giorgio Di Centa vs Pietro Piller Cottrer

My pick is Giorgio Di Centa to finish ahead

Odds : -208

Where : pinnaclesports

4.16 units to win 2 units

Start list : http://www.tour-de-ski.com/pdf/2009/CC/2397/2009CC2397TDS.pdf

Cottrer will start 15 seconds ahead but that is nothing in a race like that , Di Centa is top 3 man in races like this and I count on him to easily beat his opponent .
