Today : 4-5 -9.13 units

This season : 23-12 + 19.97 units

All : 88-42 +186.25 units

Worst day by far betting on this in over a year , all losses hurt but especially that 2 seconds loss of german men team against France which could end up in + 6 units but instead turned out to be - 4 units so 2 seconds better for Germany would still keep me up with few dollars . Hopefully if I ever bet on relay again everybody shows up and doesn't blow it all at once what others built during the whole race .

I used to bet on this as well last season but didn't have enough time so far this year , just nothing to be on so I decided to give it a try .

Thu 1/1

Start time : 04:30 AM PST

Cross Country Women: Tour de Ski - Sprint Free, Nove Mesto

Arianna Follis vs Petra Majdic

My pick is Petra Majdic to finish ahead

Odds : + 100 & - 111

Where : pinnaclesports

2.11 units to win 2 units

All other bookies I use have Majdic as - 140 fav over Follis .

This will be 5th sprint this season , Majdic won 3 first races and took 3rd place in the last one 2 days ago , winner was Arianna Follis . This is a close call but I believe Majdic is the favourite in this match up . Yesterday Follis was very slow in the 10 Classic race , almost 1 minute behind Majdic but obvious her best results are in this discipline today . Maybe Majdic as overall winner today can be tried at 3.50 odds .

Will Justyna Kowalczyk (POL) finish in the top 5?

My pick is NO

Odds : 1.80

Where : betandwin

1 units to win 0.80 units

Who should finish ahead of her : Majdic , Follis , Bjoergen for sure so will need 2 more , I see atleast 5 who can finish in front , as long as atleast two of them finish ahead of her it's all fine .

ski jumping

schlierenzauer will win this today( @ 1.87)...he is the best overall with amann and has won here the last 2 years..he likes jumping in Garmisch.

Morgenstaern is slumping right now and according to austrian press more focusing on world championship..struggling in first jump and also quali yesterday...not to finish top 7 @ 1.70

I wish ... lost connection and wasn't able to place my bets , I fancy Hetland to finish in top 3 today . Probably him or Northug will win this event .

Betandwin still has this up for like 2 mins , placed a unit not for the record on Hetland over Dahl and Northug over Cologna , both 1.55 odds .

It was quali , first 30 now will be split in different groups and then some will advance to the next round . You are right tho Follis was like a second better but doesn't mean anything .
