Yep, Thanks for the VT pick. I knew it was good when I saw it because I originally liked Miami just like what's his name.

Random thoughts:

Spinning my wheels today. Currently 4-2, +4 units this week with the Huskies +9 pending FOR ONE UNIT. This team has played good football all year and 9 points is a lot.

all the Chuck's out there drinkin that Miami Kool-Aid. Gotta learn to turn your volume down on ESPN and look at the facts.

People were making excuses about the rain. That's horseshit. That should have been advantage Miami bc of the fact that this Va Tech rush defense was supposed to be so dreadful. Miami should have been able to control the ground game.

This was just another ESPN/ABC creation. ESPN/ABC/Disney needs an ACC team like Miami to rise back to the top so their ratings can go back up.

Pac-10 is the best conference top to bottom in college football this year so far.

FSU losing to USF is pretty funny. That officially puts FSU as the 3rd or 4th best team in their own state.

It is hilarious as the networks are crowing at what an upset it was. USF has clearly been recruiting equal if not better talent & have produced better results over the years.

However networks as usual will give the beneft of the doubt to a "legend" instead of acknowledging the actual fact. Florida has clearly been the best team over the last few years. However it was just as obvious that USF was #2 over the last few years.

Miami is on the right track & are probably a year or two away. Florida State I think has talent but I seriously question the overall coaching staff down there. The fact that Jumbo is the successor does not bode well in my opinion.

Good luck on Washington tonight. I love the Cardinals in this spot but not at almost double digits. I am rooting for a middle for us as I purchased the opener down to 5.5 & you have 9. So a TD win looks great!

Great call on the Hokies. I had the Canes at the +1 opener but felt within a day I was in trouble on that side. I feel Miami will be the better team in the long run but this was a horrible spot & VT took them to the woodshed practically off the bus.

When the Canes show some life & might take it down to 1 score, they self destruct with a couple of drops. After that it was officially over as the 10% chance they had to win went back to the 0% it was for practically the entire game.

Box, what are your extremely early thoughts on OU- Miami? On a side note, hope all's well for your qb. That was a scary site, and nothing any true college football fan wants to see. Your off-week comes at an IDEAL time. Thanks.

Man, so many things flashed through my head. People hate Tebow because of the amount of passion he plays with, the announcers ALWAYS all over him, etc.

He is one of the greatest players to ever play college football, and he is a great person in case you havent heard. That could have been a truly tragic ending to his career/life. You never want to see anyone laying motionless on the ground or anyones neck bend in that way. It was almost surreal in a Christopher Reeves kind of way that Superman was laying motionless.

What a relief to see him walk off the field.

Hey not the Saturday I was looking for. Lost a little over 1 unit on Saturday, went 4-3 this week and won roughly 3 units. That's a good thing after a big week of winning 8+ units, so it's always nice to keep winning and not give it right back. See ya next week.

Working it now. College has 120 teams and less coverage so it takes me all week to cap. NFL has a lot less teams and info all over the place so I can cap it in the morning.
Oh.

I think you're going to be on the Redskins. Its kind of hilarious and irony that their the public dog and every expert and average joe is predicting them to get their first win, despit how bad Matthew Stafford is looking right now making rookie mistakes.

Box, I agree about Teebow. That was scary in general for anyone on any team.

You never did respond to the man's question, and I'll ask it again b/c now you have two people really interested...

OU visiting Miami next week. What do you think? I have my side picked out and played already...curious as to your analysis.
