That was an incredible beat in the Pirates game. I couldn’t believe when someone texted me and told me the Cubs were threatening to tie the game. They did a lot more then that. It’s ok to break even, just an annoying loss. GL

I lean the White Sox with Crochet on the mound. The problem is Chicago has been using him in smaller stints lately due to his innings total. He hasn’t pitched as well during that time and his numbers have taken a bit of a hit. I think his performance lately has been more due to Chicago only letting him throw a specific number of pitches in an outing versus his arm letting him down. Crochet was pitching well until the trade deadline rolled around. All of a sudden, the White Sox started protecting him and his results started to tick down. They should have done what Detroit is doing with Skubal. They are using a six man rotation in Detroit to give him an extra day. As a result, he is still able to go out and dominate, like he did against Boston last night. Anyway, can’t bet Chicago is Crochet is going to pitch less then five innings. GL
