I had a rough weekend. Happy to turn the page to this week. There seems to be sharp action on both sides. I reputable sharp group bet UNC -10 and then another reputable sharp group bet James Madison +11. I’m on the side of James Madison here at anything over +10. This could go back to 11/11.5, but I’m going to bet it now in case it goes down to -10.

This is for Saturday. I don’t think Rising will play and once everyone knows or realizes that, this line will be at least -3.

I misspoke about Rising. He is playing, I’m just not confident in him. He is going to face pressure from a good OK State front. I bet OK State over 8 and to win the Big 12 before the season started, so obviously I am high on them. Utah is also a totally different team at home versus on the road. The fact that this line moved from Utah -1.5 to Oklahoma State -2.5 tells me that I’m not the only one with this opinion.

Kansas/West Virginia under 57.5 (-110), 1*

There are a couple 7.5’s out there on Nebraska if you shop around and don’t mind laying -115. I will use the more common number. I would bet the total in the Kansas game down to 56.5. GL

A few of these are from earlier in the week. Obviously, I didn’t get the best number on Oklahoma State, but it probably won’t matter. If they win by one or two that would stink. Any other outcome and it won’t matter whether I bet them ML, -1 or -2.5. Like I said before, I like them in this game with or without Rising playing for Utah. If everything goes according to plan, OK State will win tomorrow and then I can fade them next week in a letdown spot against Kansas State. There are a few other games I want to add, just waiting to see if I can get better numbers. GL

Got out to a great start and then gave most of it back later in the day. Turned a small profit, but it could have been better. The state of Oklahoma killed me.

I like Indiana this week. Hoping for a repeat of a couple weeks ago when they smoked UCLA. I’m going to monitor the line for now. It moved from -6.5 to -7 already. If it stays at -7, I will bet it Saturday. The number I really want is -6.5. If it goes to -7.5, it’s a pass. Nothing else I want to bet today. It’s early.

Lot of totals for tomorrow. Obviously, some of these lines moved since I bet them. I would still bet the FSU under at 47. I would bet the Syracuse over up to 60. I would not bet anything less then 45 in the Auburn game or 44 in the Houston game. But that’s just my range, you are all free to bet whatever numbers you want. I haven’t bet any of the high profile games, but I have a feeling I am going to add a couple to my card. GL
