My fault. The previous post should say LSU -9.5, not Vanderbilt +9.5. Glad I caught that while we are still a ways away from the game.

USC -5 (-110), 1*

The more I looked at this, the more I think there is some value on the Trojans.

Probably add 1-2 more tomorrow. I think I might be able to get a better number by waiting. GL

You can probably find anything from 4.5 to 5.5 in this game. Any of those numbers are fine with me. Games don’t typically end in five point margins, so that really shouldn’t matter. I think the bloom has come off Army’s rose and this will be a tough matchup for them. GL

Texas/Georgia over 50.5 (-105), 1*

I plan on betting Oregon. Just waiting until the 3’s come back. I think I’m going to bet Arizona State as well.

Notre Dame to reach CFP semifinal (+160), 1*
Notre Dame to win CFP (+750), 1*
Ohio State to win CFP (+500), 1*

There is not a dominant team this year, despite Oregon being undefeated. I could make a case for 7 different teams, without feeling like I was being disingenuous. I think you can make a fair case that Ohio State is the most talented team. The combination of their draw as well as their shocking loss to Michigan is giving us a number we would not have had otherwise. Especially if they had played and beaten Oregon in the Big Ten title game. Instead of choosing to bet Ohio State in this way, I could bet them moneyline against Oregon. With that said, I’m not going to get +500 on Ohio State. If they upset Oregon, I would easily be able to hedge with Texas if I wanted.

Real quick on Notre Dame. I haven’t really been a believer of Indiana. They are a nice story, but they are also the benefactor of a schedule that allowed them to dodge Penn State and Oregon. When they played someone good, they got put in their place. I expect Notre Dame’s defense to do a pretty nice job. Their offense is plenty good enough to move the ball on the Hoosiers. Also, if there is a game when Leonard isn’t playing well, the Irish are good enough on defense and with their rush attack to win in spite of him. If they beat Georgia and play Penn State in the semis, I will feel comfortable. And I can hedge that bet too if need be.

I will probably have a total bet on the Army/Navy game tomorrow. Not sure about the night game.
