Today: 1-4, -3.32

Future:

Heat +3.5 games (-130), 1*

YTD: 286-231, +37.09

Miami winning game 2 made that bet a winner. I still have the Knicks to win their series, which looks great after their win today. The only future that doesn’t look good is the Lakers series to go over 5.5 wins. If the Lakers didn’t blow leads in the first three games of the series and found a way to win one of those games, this bet would be a winner. Instead, I need a big upset from the Lakers tomorrow night to pull that one out. As long as the Knicks come through, I will turn a profit on my round one futures, which was the goal.

Bucks to win series (+600), 1*
Luka over 7.5 1Q points (-125), 1*

I think there is a small chance that Giannis returns for game 6 or 7. Even if he doesn’t, Milwaukee is the much more experienced and battle tested playoff team. If Milwaukee wins game 6, it will be very easy to hedge and bet the Pacers in game 7. I will have a couple more futures for the next round, but I am waiting to see where the prices go. For example, Denver got bet up from -180 to -215 today to win their series against Minnesota.

If you feel more comfortable betting Luka’s full game points over or made threes over, that’s your call. This is a huge game in this series and I like Luka to start fast. Maybe his body starts to wear down as the game goes on, so I would rather bet him early. GL

Heat +14 (-110), 1*

I will sprinkle a little on the Heat ML at +675. The Celtics lose random games in the playoffs that you don’t see coming. See game 2. This kind of feels like a Celtics blowout or a Heat outright win. I’ll take a small shot on the Heat ML at a monster price.

I might bet Dallas tonight. I’m tempted to bet them and bet more Luka props, but I am using restraint right now. GL

Just missed with that Heat bet lol. It happens, still basically an even night. I don’t mind live betting Dallas right now.

Miles McBride over 11.5 points and rebounds (-115), 1*
76ers -3 (-110), 1*

I am going back to McBride today. His point total is up from 8.5 to 9.5, so I will loop in his rebounds and play that prop instead. He has had four rebounds each of the last two games. 8 points and 4 rebounds is all I need here, which seems pretty doable. GL

Future Results

Knicks to win series (-110), 1*
Lakers/Nuggets over 5.5 games (-140), 1*
Bucks to win series (+600), 1*

My record and units are up-to-date including the three futures. It is unfortunate I lost the Lakers future, when you factor in that they had a double digit lead in the first four games of the series. I’m not sure what I’m doing tonight. I want to bet the Magic, but it’s hard to bet a young team in their first elimination game. They have been strong at home though. I will take a look at the prop market once I get out of work.

Nuggets to win game 1 and the series (-110), 2*
Karl-Anthony Towns over 7.5 rebounds (-110), 1*

I am taking a risk with the Nuggets bet. They could lose game one and win the series. But I would rather bet this as opposed to laying -210 for the series. The Nuggets are -185 tonight and -210 for the series. I can get both blended at -110 which I think is pretty fair. I like the Towns prop enough that I will ladder his rebounds prop tonight. Meaning I will have something on over 8.5 and 10+ rebounds. GL

Nikola Jokic under 1.5 threes (-175), 1*
Jamal Murray under 2.5 threes (-115), 1*
Nickeil Alexander-Walker over 1.5 threes (-110), 1*
Naz Reid under 1.5 threes (-120), 1*
Aaron Gordon under 3.5 assists (+115), 1*

I usually only give out my favorite prop, but I will empty the bucket tonight. Best of luck!

I still believe in Denver. At plus money, they are worth a bet. I think tonight is a must win which is why I played the other future as well. I want to get in on this while I can.

Pacers +5.5 (-110), 1*

I think I will be interested in the Pacers at this type of number. I believe they are going to win at least two games in this series, which means they are going to win outright a couple times as dogs. They are well coached and kind of playing with house money. Everyone thinks we are getting the Celtics/Knicks in the ECF. Indiana could make things pretty difficult on NY. Lastly, the conventional wisdom is that if you like the Pacers you should like the over. If you like the Knicks, you should like the under. Basically, they play two different styles. Whoever is controlling the game will probably be winning and the score will be representative of the way they want to win. Let’s see how this first game plays out. GL

I will have an Aaron Gordon points prop once I know if Gobert is playing or not.

My record includes the losing Nuggets future. What a surprising result. I guess they can still win the series, but they laid a complete and total egg.
