The Patriots just parted ways with a guy who was my Father Football. I learned what it takes to win on a football field from Billy Belichick. THe guy needed more time (and earned more time in my opinion) to correct the mess that was this year. When is the last time the Pats had a top ten draft pick? Not in this Belichick era. The Krafts should have given him the one more year on his contract.
Honestly, because of the way this move is endorsed my many I hope the guy goes to any one of the AFC East teams (I think Buffalo is most likely), comes back here to beat us twice next year, then takes that team deep into the playoffs. ANY AFC East team.
I love Bill Belichick. He gave me a glorious twenty plus years. Something that was unthinkable before his arrival.

To Chop and Avocado. I owe you guys $200.00 each. (Avocado's is comprised of two $100.00 losses). Is your PM now functional, Av? I want to send cash. Please PM me a mailing address. I'll send your money off tomorrow. Thanks.
I'm a Belichick boy, and I wanted him to stay.
In retrospect, the firing seemingly started a few years ago. Belichick reportedly talked to Kraft like he talked to the media, not hard to believe (with the possible exception of this week)
Kraft was unhappy about letting Brady leave, but he let Belichick have his way
I have often said it was a good time for Brady to leave because the Patriots had no cap space for the following year. While that is true, the cap space and roster management falls on the GM, Belichick
Making Patricia OC was a bad move
Sticking with Mac Jones as long as he did was a bad move
Not signing more productive free agents was a bad move. He let Meyers go and could have signed Hopkins but wouldn't give him 13 million
And the PK he drafted was a bad move, arguably costing the Patriots 2 or 3 games himself while Nick Folk continues to make every FG he's supposed to make
Kraft said making the playoffs this year was important, instead they're the second team eliminated
Kraft is moving on, so am I, it's on to 2024
Love you Belichick, wishing you all the best, thanks for the memories, and I believe you'll beat Shula's record. Just do it out west with a team like the LAC. I don't want to face you twice a year
