The first three titles were based on a running game and defense. Brady was a great game manager, and a winner. Part of Belichick's franchise

Brady became an elite passing QB in 2007, the year they went 18-1

The last Super Bowl they won was 13-3 over the Rams. I'm going to suggest that wasn't because of Brady. Sean McVay talked about how badly he was schooled by Belichick

Every player who played in New England talks about his unparalleled game preparation. Except for a couple of malcontents that were simply undeciplined

When the Patriots beat the Falcons, that was all on Tom Brady. Every other SB win had a strong defensive effort.

Brady also helped in another way, he played for far below market value, enabling the Patriots to sign more talented players.

Belichick has 8 rings. Time certainly did it's thing
Wow so Brady only had anything to do with 1 Super Bowl according to you

Remember all the clowns in here saying that Brady was just another "system QB" and all the success of the Pat's was due to Belichick. That take did not age well.
There are people here that still think that

Panthers would be a disaster
They might be the only team in the NFL with a worse offense then the Pats

Buffalo would be the smart play - the GOAT play.

Probably ends up with the Chargers...

Jackson needed Jordan and Kobe
Sather needed Gretzky and Messier
Belichick needs Brady and Allen

GOATs need GOATs.

Didn't watch the video, but getting ready for KC is 100% what I expect him to say

If anything, the Patriots are a tight lipped organization from the top down, which is why guys like Curran are so wrong so often
That's all he said getting ready for Kansas City

Well you kinda made it sound like Brady was only on the ride for the other superbowl except for the Atlanta one

May not be the way you feel about it but it’s the way it looks on the post

I would love for NE to beat KC this week and Denver beat Detroit

Then my personal GOAT HC can win the AFC west in year 1 and cash my 100-1 COY ticket

Like I said last night in the Miami thread there are two guys (maybe three including Jonathan) who I will believe re Belli's fate after this season. That would be Belli himself, Bob Kraft, or his son Jonathan.

Anything else you hear is pure speculation.

Like Willie said, the Pats are the tightest organization in sports when it comes to information. There are no leaks.

My personal guess is that he is still coaching here next year. His GM duties may change.

Me and Willie have a bet on this
If you are interested I can add you to the list

My bet is he won’t be coaching the pats next year

Is this a past bet?

Just curious

I think now if you did a bet have to make staying a healthy underdog

Though I am not 100% sold he's gone. Kind of have to see it to believe it with the Patriots

$200.00 even says he is the coach of the Pats for the '24 season.

Your $200.00 even says that he is not the coach of the Patriots next season.

You're on.

Let me know

I'll give you the same bet for the $100.00 I owe you from the Jets / Miami bet if you want, Av. (although it's funny how that bet is now back in play!!)
