“Bill had told me he couldn’t play anymore,” Kraft said after Brady won the title, per ESPN, “and then he goes out and wins the fucking Super Bowl.”

This is actually a very funny quote but does need a bit of context.

Yes, Tom Brady won a SuperBowl on a stacked team after he left the Pats, which infuriated Kraft, but Tom was done immediately after that.

Belichick was off by a year. He wasn't wrong.
Lol. Quoting ESPN.

LIB FAIRY

"Tom was done after that" only took Tampa to play offs the next season and was coveted by other teams in free agency."

fair point, and im not the guy to ask as dont watch much and certainly no qb expert . But 3 names ive seen enough times to call them elite are: Mahomes , Allen , L Jackson . Lamar physically can do shit others simply cant . Seems to have matured ..success in the playoffs? we shall see

Rooting for Buff success being so close to Toronto.....

buff never should have lost that playoff game in KC a few yrs back, fuckin brutal
Like I said, it depends on what name(s) you're dropping.

I'd rather have Belichick than most QBs. Most QBs are interchangeable, they just need a good supporting cast to be successful.

"Elite" is a very misused term for QBs. There just aren't that many.

nah, the following yr after the SB had a qb rating of 102 (same as the SB yr) but threw for over 700 yds more (granted one more game in the schedule) 5300 yds passing. Fell like a rock the yr after, to his credit knew it was time

Pats may have won another SB if they kept him, brutal ..

45 years old...anyone in sports is pretty much done.

Not exactly a shocking take.

Is he still playing?

Weather right or wrong I think Kraft believes he could have kept Tom playing if he was still a Patriot.

He regrets giving Bill the power(in hindsight)

I'm not sure about that. Pats didn't have the supporting cast anymore, which is probably why Brady left. Realistically, with his age at the time, Brady himself knew he only had 1-2 years left.

Over 40 is way past prime in any sport, obviously.

Brady and Belichick were a great match. Not even from a schematic point of view, but just from an attitude/personality standpoint. They complimented each other

Brady has to be considered the "most responsible" for the dynasty simply because he actually plays in the games, and is in the most influential position in the team sports.

But we have to give credit to Bill too. His defense was frankly the anchor for the Patriots in a lot of their successful seasons, especially at the beginning of the run before Brady reached his peak (and then again at the tail end).

It was an incredible partnership, especially given the parity-driven landscape.

Think they just really failed to identify/draft and develop talent offensively for the last 6-7 years. It was looking that way even before Brady left, despite still being relatively successful.

Bill had a lot of rope, but he clearly used it all and it was time to turn the page

Wait till you see what I have in store for you...

You're going to wish they didn't let you back in.

Either you'll lose a SHITLOAD of money, or your stupid punk-ass millennial "pride" will be damaged forever.

Just wait..

It's true, they no longer had the horses to win a SB with Brady, which is probably one of the reasons why he left.

It sounds like Bill was being micromanaged by the Krafts, especially the younger Jonathan.

That's what vitturd said. So I posted tickets just for fun... 5K min.

"Fake! Fake! Fake!" ...so much for Mister Fake Millionaire.

No, I have something much better (and more expensive) in mind just for you.

Remember, I broke the "Epstein/Bill is a Pedo" story here back in 2016...

Sometimes, the truth just takes time.

When you lash out like this like a child, all you're doing is showcasing your Cognitive Dissonance.

You're the one who scammed posters out of thousands off on a "stollen" election, not me.

Unlike your comical musings speculating on my mental health, that is OFFICIAL ON THE RECORD.

Mathematically impossible results, which (up to now) have held...at least in the eyes of delusional brainwashed TV sheep.

Like I said, the truth just takes time, and I'm NOT a patient man. True injustice like this PISSES ME OFF to no end!

Any poster here who thinks I have scammed them please allow me to know....

Just the latest example of Joe fighting battles only that occur in his mind.

He cant honestly claim that he was NEVER on the right side of fixed event.

It always felt like the books knew in advance because it was TRULY ridulous to give Biden at -200 or so price tag.

The last SB they won was 13-3

I'm going to suggest that wasn't won because of Tom Brady, the GOAT BTW

Sean McVay said he was schooled by the other GOAT, FWIW

Two GOATS made a great tandem. Throw in the fact that QB GOAT played for less than FMV, and it was a WIN WIN WIN situation

We've had more than our fair share of success. We can never complain

PS: Go Huskies and C's baby, can always make room for more banners. 😀
