The Colts taking a WR. They are loaded at WR and have a ton of defensive needs. Instead of fixing any of those defensive needs they take a WR that might not even see the field this year.
I wish he had stayed at OU for this season. It probably would have guaranteed him first round money next year. Plus i think he would have flourished in Lincoln Riley's new passing scheme. But after seeing a couple OU WR's go down with injuries this past season, I think it scared him into entering the draft early.Oh I know, wish Seattle would get him or Locket.
Dorial Green-Beckham will be the steal of the draft. I'm a little surprised he didn't go in the first round. I'll be very surprised if he isn't one of the first 7 or 8 chosen tonight. From what I've heard this kid has cleaned up his act and has a family now. By far the most talented WR in the draft. But these NFL teams are obviously reluctant to take him based on his past...

Why would he not see the field next year. They will be in 3 and 4 receiver sets. I dont know why everyone loves Duron Carter just because he is Cris Carter's son. Also, Andre Johnson doesnt have the greatest history of staying injury free.
The Eagles, who were widely expected to go all-in for Mariota, put a huge offer on the table, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The reported offer, as described by Rapoport on Twitter, is insane:
- Two first-round picks
- One third-round pick
- Fletcher Cox, the team's best defensive player
- Brandon Boykin, nickel corner
- Sam Bradford, starting quarterback
- Mychal Kendricks, starting linebacker

I cant beleive the Rams are in the position they are after getting all of that from the Redskins to move down four spots. No line, a quarterback that was hurt last year, a running back that was hurt last year. They clearly were the winners on that deal but arent even close to a playoff team.
That deal is the modern day equivalent of the Ricky Williams trade. Just awful. The Redskins moved up 4 spots in the draft to get RG3. They had to give up the #6 pick that year, the #22 pick the year after, and the #2 pick last season. Plus an early 2nd rounder that the Rams turned into potential Pro Bowl CB Janoris Jenkins.
You're right though. It's strange that the Rams aren't a better team after all those picks.
Yea, the Rams are garbage, RG3 won Rookie of the Year and won the NFC East for the first time in 5 years. The skins have decades of pathetic picks. I would take that trade 1000000 out of 1000000 times if it were offered again. You guys are just RG3 haters.
Moncrief in the mix too. Just not sure where Dorsett fits in without injuries. Allen/Fleener going to grab 80 balls. Hilton and Johnson should be good for 200. Moncrief for another 40 or so. Who knows Carter's role. Unless Luck is planning on throwing 800 times I just don't see Dorsett getting much love in year 1 beyond returning kicks. Just seems like a weird pick for a team with big defensive needs and every safety still on the board. Maybe they knew Collins would slip and plan to make a move in round 2. That would at least make the Dorsett pick tolerable I guess. Still I don't think WR was the way to go. They just didn't need one...

Wow I didn't think anyone in the world would support the Redskins' side of the trade.
They had one season where they were slightly above the league average and fell to one of the worst teams the last 2 seasons. They leveraged their future for a guy that can't stay on the field. Tough to sell me on them getting the better end of that with the team in shambles and very little young talent ready to emerge to help because of the loss of picks.

What future are you talking about? They were garbage for the past two decades before RG3 came in. Their draft picks have been complete busts. They get their first rookie of the year, win the East for the first time in over 5 years, get to the playoffs, energize the fan base. There is absolutely no way any Redskins fan or anyone in the organization would not make that trade again. The Rams did absolutely nothing with those picks. They actually went 1-3 against the NFC East last year. The Redskins won that deal by a long shot.
