Wow, looking at the main girl on the cover you posted, Christiane, just as I remember her. Really want to watch this again with my oldest but certain scenes, the prostitution and such, not sure about yet. I don't want to censor it. This movie had an impact on me. Messed around with other drugs, never this stuff though.

One of my favorite movies of all time .I saw this at the movies because of the david bowie music and then was blown away by how gritty and realistic the movie is .

Double thumbs up ! I OWN THE DVD

The thing I remember most about that movie is some guy warning her "you don't want to get messed up into heroin" or something like that. Of course, being a kid she didn't listen.

Every once in a while when I hear about heroin addiction I think of that movie.

Thanks man. I can't get over how well I remember the details to this movie. I remember when I saw it I thought is was real, like a documentary, due to the low quality. A buddy of mine ordered it through net flix so I'll be seeing it again in a few days. Still not sure if I should watch with my oldest girl (13).

saw 'harsh times' yesterday, starring christian bale. never heard of it before, but it was a pretty good movie. not the best of the best, but worth a spin your dvd-player.

nothing better than the scene where Air Force One is under attack by the migs, and awaiting the US Air Force to intercept and help, and just as they are about to get hit, here comes the cavalry......Ford turns to his wife and says "Good guys are here"....gotta love it....
