I was telling the mrs about My Blue Heaven last weekend. Weird. If you have a copy we should work out some trades, we have about 300 movies on DVD

I dont own it but I believe I saw it at the Video store in Santa Ana that sits caddy-corner to Bar Amigos. We should definately set up some trades soon. I'll have to write up a list when im not too busy changing lives.

"Best in Show" is a hilarious spoof movie as well.....made by the same people who made This is Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman and For Your Consideration...

its kinda like a documentary about dog shows, but its hilarious, and it stars a bunch of people you have seen before, but probably cant name.....the dad from the American Pie movies is in it, Catherina O'hara (the wife in Beetlejuice) and Mike McKean (Lenny of Lenny and Squiggy) are some of the main people..

GREAT MOVIE...

Vanishing Point was a good flick...I liked the commentary by the blind radio DJ (Clevon Little) throughout the movie that seemed to somehow know every move that Barry Newman was making through the desert in his Challenger. And offered some great social commentary at the time. Definitely a cult film that really appeals to old geezers like me who grew up in the 70's. This movie looks really good on Blue Ray. It even has as an extra a short film about the making of the movie that includes the naked girl on the motorcycle! I'm surprised that the lead character Barry Newmon didn't become a bigger star after this movie.

My mother sat me down to watch this as a youngster and damned if I never touched heroin. I have always wanted to see it again. I remember it well even though it's been about 25 years since I've seen it and only seen it once. I intend to watch this with my oldest soon.

One of my favorite movies of all time .I saw this at the movies because of the david bowie music and then was blown away by how gritty and realistic the movie is .

Double thumbs up ! I OWN THE DVD

Wow, looking at the main girl on the cover you posted, Christiane, just as I remember her. Really want to watch this again with my oldest but certain scenes, the prostitution and such, not sure about yet. I don't want to censor it. This movie had an impact on me. Messed around with other drugs, never this stuff though.
