Check out Last House on the Left, I think it just came out on DVD, I originally thought this was a horror movie, but its a pretty good revenge thriller. Revenge movies are always good.

I probably mentioned a few of these previously, but...

25th hour (for all you ed norton lovers I think this is his best role)
Brother (early 2000s, beat tekeshi and omar epps)
George washington (downer, low budget)
Kiss kiss bang bang (dark comedy / hollywood noir)
Bamboozeled (crazy, but great, spike lee flick)
Croupier
Entacto (the idea that luck is a commodity that can be won or lost)
The grifters
Devil's playground (documentry about amish kids - really wild and entertaining)
Duel (spielberg made for tv movie)
Soul of the game (hbo film about negro leagues and jackie robinson - love the portrayal of josh gibson in this)

Dirty Work

(one of the all time funniest movies that no one has ever heard of) Norm McDonald, and Chris Farley. I have always loved Farley and this is a classic with some great lines. "Another Hooker in the trunk"

Are you sure you've seen it? Chris Farley :think2: ?

chris farley has a role in it - he plays the friend who's nose was bitten off by the saigon whore. but artie is the other main character along with norm.

best scene in that movie is the bar fight, "street fightin' man by the rolling stones - D7!!!! ...Dude you hit D12"

the life of david gale

surprised more people haven't seen it. the ending was one of the most surprising for me. it beat all the movies here lately that insist on some impossible ending.

Some blasts from the past:

'Duck Soup'. The Marx Brothers best. A brilliant satire.
'Bringing Up Baby'. The finest screwball comedy ever. Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn at their funniest.
'The Bride of Frankenstein'. Horrifying and hilarious. Still brilliant and campy after all these years.
'The Adventures of Robin Hood'. The one with Errol Flynn, not Kevin Costner.
A Technicolor masterpiece.
