If I would have took kamara everyone would have called me a homer .

If I would have took Barkley people would have laughed .

I think reasonable arguments could have been made to take Barkley or Kamara 3rd.

Kamara went 3rd overall in my NFFC $500 league and those guys are experienced players

With that said, DJ shouldn't be this bad. Bradford is killing him. Even with the negative game scripts he should be catching a ton of passes.

It might be almost safe to call Thomas the best PPR wr in the nfl .

At the moment you're correct.

AB and Hopkins have been average through two weeks, OBJ and Julio Jones put up duds yesterday, Keenan Allen pretty pedestrian yesterday too. AJ Green having a career year so far but hes still a tier below Thomas.

For the time being you have to put Michael Thomas at #1 by himself

He is on pace for 120-1920-24, does that sound hurt to you?

Ingram caught 58 passes and had 12 TD's last year, if you think taking that out of the equation isn't helping Kamara then we'll agree to disagree.

You could argue Ingram will help keep Kamara fresh and stay healthy but that's a diff discussion then we're talking about.

I mean if you want I'll take Kamara w/o Ingram vs Kamara w/ Ingram PPG this year.

Lets not get too crazy over a 2 game sample.
Its all in the touches .
Kamara not getting more touches these first 4 weeks then he would have got if Ingram were on the field.

But on the other hand the saints are a much better team with Ingram.

We failed a 4th and 1 yesterday and punted on 4th and 2.
These are situations where they would have made and gone for it and stayed on the field.

The Saints are throwing possessions with these clowns we have playing ingrams role

I swear these fantasy gurus are so week to week its funny.
I saw Matthew Berry say last week how pathetic the TE position is this season.
Now hes saying this is the golden era of TE.
haha

I wonder how much money they paying him

I think it is hard to say he isn't getting more opportunity when you take 60 catches/12 TD's out of the lineup. Their offense is not that much better with him in to account for that. His avg targets per game are way up compared to last year.

As far as Matthew Berry types, the funny thing to me was always the presentation of that stuff before weekly leagues. "My #1 option at receiver this week is Michael Thomas"

Why would anyone care who his #1 option was? If anyone in the top 20 WR's is on your team then you aren't benching them unless they have an absolutely brutal matchup in most leagues so it doesn't even need to be said, it doesn't help anyone.

But if you just ran video packages talking about the real decisions that fantasy football players have to make, like who to pickup Jonnu Smith or Ian Thomas then that would be pretty funny to watch on ESPN, lol.

Agree

Yesterday Conner was a "locked in top 5 RB1"

Today hes a "volume based low end RB1"

Fantasy owners going to think this is a positive but really it isn't for the reasons I outlined in the other thread

If anything this is simply a slight downgrade to hogan and gronk. Edelman role in the offense is secure regardless of a deep threat / red zone target like this.

He's gonna be a headache to own. Probably have a 9-157-2 week on everyones bench then people start him and he does nothing. More of a real football upgrade than fantasy.

That is if he can still play. Who knows.

metro probably send a few subscriptions to his house with how much he hates NE.

Yea, I'd probably try to trade him now while the hype is high

I honestly think he will be better then anything you cut him or trade him for

Obviously wait till week 6 or so to play him but he is the most talented person who catches footballs on the entire team.

I have to bench one of these guys this week

Chris thompson, dion lewis, Lamar Miller, Amari cooper, Quincy enunwa.

Leaning towards benching Lamar Miller. Doesnt have much pass catching value. Needs a TD to have a good week. Could have positive game script against the giants even though Texans have been bad. Brutal matchup for Dion Lewis on paper but titans should be playing from behind the entire game and with that nasty secondary could see lots of checkdowns. Dont feel great about Enunwa Thursday night because browns D is underrated and I hate starting guys on TNF. But almost have to start him in ppr with double digit targets week 1 and 2. Cooper probably needs to be starting since they woke up and made him the focal point again.

Unless there is a real loon/Pats homer in your league that thinks they can just rejuvenate any reclamation project, doubt anyone is giving him for a guy that hasn't been a fantasy asset in 5 years.

If he got dealt to Dallas I think he would've had legit trade value, but also he would've had legit fantasy value too.

Someone who's deep at WR might be willing to trade a consistent guy he benches every week for a potential boom/bust in Gordon

All depends on your needs tho

Bottom was a typo. Thompson def starting. Leaning Miller. His ceiling is so low.
