I've met dozens of people at the RX over the years. Some on the liberal side ( VD for example) Bossie another. Good experiences. Some became good acquaintances, some became friends, even good friends. I'm pretty hard not to get along with or like. I've yet to come across a bad apple yet from here. The real bad apples won't show their faces anyway or will hide from you.

Over last few months , I've tried to eliminate the attacks, or the overly defensive posture with the people I don't agree with politically.. Most of them have more to offer than just politics.. Trying to concentrate more on that these days. Probably be a better forum if we all did that.

Believe BAS tried to sell those knockoffs elsewhere also if I remember correctly at other forums couple non sports related. I believe I remember him at another sports forum but not under the BAS name back in the day?

I'll always like and respect BAS. He was good by me, he was trustworthy for years, he was well liked by the old school guys (who I have much more respect for than many of the new "woke like" crowd). I consider them real men, not silly flamboyant peacocks.

Anyhow, I believe a serious stroke changed his life. I'm not even sure he controls his finances anymore. I think other people may be making those decisions for him. That's how the world turns.

And I like and respect Defying too. He obviously respected BAS as well, which is why he stepped in to try and help. Not sure what happened in their communications, obviously was not good, but I'm glad he was repaid by ownership

Having said that, I believe the forum was better under BAS. More of the old timers were around back then. Their absence has led to the forum's demise, but it might have been inevitable anyhow.

Agreed all you can judge a man by his your personal dealings with him. I’m not saying that’s backing him 100% just your experience was good take it or leave it. Hate to hear health problems ran the guy down though.
