Noreaga - personally I agree, just thought I would post some actual odds. I watched the Ravens - Jets game last Sunday and cannot see the Ravens going anywhere. Most likely they will not get a bye in the Wild Card round so will have to win 3 games including 2 on the road to win AFC. They will have to beat a team like Jacksonville in Baltimore, then on the road agiainst either the Colts or the Pats and finally at Pittsburg for the AFC title. No way they can win 3 straight against that competition.

btw. from Pinnacle:

LMFAO!!!

PEOPLE SAID THE EXACT SAME THING IN 2000 WHEN THE RAVENS DID IT.

the 2000 ravens would have never been 6-3 with the injuries this years version has.

in 2000 everyone said the ravens couldnt win in tennessee or oakland.

this year its new england or pitt.

fwiw, take a look at the ravens record IN pittsburgh over the last 4 or 5 years.

For those that do not follow the Ravens , i can see how it must look..Your underestimating the injuries....

Todd Heap and Ogden being out = Jamal Lewis avg about 1.5 yards less a carry, teams are putting 8-9 men in the box almost on every down...We shall see...

There is only one team in the NFL that would be clealry favored on an even field IF THE RAVENS ARE HEALTHY, and that team is New England...

All you Ravens groupies please check back in after the Nov 28 @New England game. this one should separate the men from the boys. Until then you guys are just hoping to sneak in as a Wild card.

Why are you laughing? Whoever the NFC sends to the SB will be a dog.

I will concede the New England game...the Ravens have a brutal road schedule...those teams wouldn't win @ Balto either..

Wil we match up better against New England than we do against Pittsburgh.

In fact the defense is 100 times better now than they were last week. You saw it last night. On a neutral field we will be much more competitive with Pitt than we were at Ketchup Park. The Birds got better in a hurry on the road on Monday Night against their most fierce rival. Even Madden said the Pittsburgh game was an aberration. You heard Michaels saying it's similar to a "throw out" race in horses.

The Birds are the favorite to win the Super Bowl. I think I saw you post +360?

I'm not a diehard Ravens fan, I know this team well though and i know they will be a much better team by january...the shcedule makes it tough, more than likely they will be a wild card instead of the division champ...If they're one game behind Pitt though, that Steelers game will be for the division .

SB - you play in the non competitive NFC Least, thats equivalent to the American League Central...

You shouldn't even open your trap til you get to the Super Bowl lol :nono5:

NE burys the Eagles Sportsbet... If Philly makes it for once that is. Think Vick might have something to say about that.

No way...if anyone should be worried it should be New England. Way too much competition in the AFC. By the time anyone from the AFC gets there they will be so beaten up the Eagles offense will open up on them.

I'm confident we will get there...I don't care against who.

sportsbet...

the eagles barely got by the ravens, who didnt have there 3 best offensive players.

if jamal and ogden wouldnt have missed that game, the ravens probably would have won.

The AFC has won 23 of the 38 interconference games this year, with that conference having eight clubs with at least six wins, headed by the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots, both 8-1. As far as the Ravens @ Pats game goes that game should be a litmus test for the Ravens - if they get blown out then how can anyone think they are the best team by any stretch of imagination. They need to be able to beat the champs in order to be taken seriously. The Steelers have done so under ideal conditions, can they do it again, maybe we will see a rematch in the AFC playoff game. The Pats have dusted the Rams and Bills since Corey Dillon returned and are 8-0 with him starting. Their secondary has been decimated so much they are using WR Troy Brown as a DB.

I understand every poster has his (or her) favorite team and hope springs eternal for the fans of many teams right now. Lets revisit this thread in late January.

FTR - I am agreeing New England is the best team and will be very difficult to beat at home...But I would rather take the Ravens to New England over any other team in football to go there and come out with a win if they get healthy....

Defense travels in January...the Ravens still have the best defense in football.
