he'll be wearing a Leaf jersey soon!!!!!
Ha! You wish!

The bad news for Leaf fans is Matthews will most likely bolt Toranna. The good news is McDavid will probably replace him.

Update: Leafs in a dog fight against Seattle tied 3-3 - beer league hockey lol

Matthew's going to Arizona as FA? LOL
Arizona IS the worst place for an NHL team. It really fucking sucks.

Austin Mathew's makes more per year than the building the Coyotes will play in next year.

Arizona is the narrative because it's his home, but I would think LA, NY, SJ, ANA would be more likely ...he can write his own ticket and go anywhere he wants.

If Leafs can't even win a round, why would he stay?

if betman would rid the cap, have something similar to baseball. The graduates from the GTHL wanting to come home would field this Leaf team;

McDavid,
S Bennett
T Wilson
Mangiapane
Sequin
Monahan
Tavares
Marner
Horvat
(A Cirelli)

dee;
D Hamilton
B Chiarot
Nurse
A Pelech
Pietrangelo
Burns
(Chychrun)

dee has improved?

who knows if he'll stay, few years from now. One thing is for sure is that he likes the city, teammates. Not easy playing in a hockey mecca, everyone is a critic :). He and Marner took a lot of heat a yr ago, thought he handled it well. And to his credit, he has numerous times deflected give credit to Marner

“I’m not shy about how much I enjoy playing here,” Matthews noted. “I think everybody (here) feels the same. We love the passion the city has for the team, for hockey. It’s an unbelievable place to play.”

(if he does move elsewhere goign to have to be competitive team with LOTS of cap space. Lookin' at that young, strong Ranger team- not sure that will be an option unless they break up their core )

  • Joaquin Niemann, Hideki Matsuyama, Cameron Smith
  • Viktor Hovland, Patrick Cantlay, Jon Rahm
  • Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas
  • Brooks Koepka, Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele
  • Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Daniel Berger
that 3rd pairing is awesome!

At the end of his career, Matthews will be the best Maple Leaf ever; most goals most assists and most points. He will also be the greatest American born hockey player of all time. Hes by far a better player than Modano.
I don't consider Hull an American..he was born in Ontario.

And to compare his NHL talents to a beer league player...well that person is one retatarded fucking uneducated faggot!
goals per game (minimum 200 goals scored) in NHL history;

M Bossy- 0.76
M Lemieux - 0.75
A Matthews - 0.62
P Bure - 0.62
A Ovechkin - 0.61

this rate is simply incredible
