I agree 100% the cappers on this forum are great!! However they are or atleast should be playing their own plays and are making plenty of cash for themselves therefore a dinner and wine from you posters should be the farthest thing from their minds as they should just be happy in spreading the wealth in which i am sure they are. If and only IF those cappers mentioned asked for the money should it be sent Imo, however i am quite sure they do not expect anything as this is a sharing forum and everyone i would imagine appreciates it greatly.

I don't know who said that, can't remember, but it applies here IMO. I have no doubts Kruser is honest in his pursuits, as stated above I believe his intentions are good. However that does not always equate to a wise decision. In my opinion if this was a one time deal and soon forgotten it wouldn't be a bad thing, my guess is this will be anything but. Usually when things like this happen others will start to wonder why they were not included. Soon guys (who are not touts and already do this) will begin to register with new names and hope to get hot. Many in other forums will wonder why they were not included. They did in college hoops, why not college football!??
Also I would bet money there is a good chance of who donated versus who did not donate becoming an issue. I don't know if Kruser plans on making it public here on the forums but I would be surprised if at least the cappers involved are not made aware of who gave to them. That could potentially cause hard feelings and rivalries breaking out based on who gives and who does not give. I will not be surprised either when another guy wants to do the same good deed and compensate a new group of cappers, what if that effort is not headed up by a man with Krusers apparent integrity? Who's to step in and warn people that it won't be a hoax the next time. And trust me there are no amounts to small for some people, tons of folks here that would work a scam for a couple of hundred bucks if they thought they could get away with it.
These men probably deserve it but if they were here to be compensated they would have went tout long ago, let's not blur the line now. To me the upside is small and the potential downside is large. Bottom line I think Kruser has the best intentions in all this but I believe it's a bad precedent to start. Just my two cents on the issue, carry on.

Compared to just about everyone at this site I'm brand new to this and have learned pretty quickly that the numbers lie and the best cappers need little more than good instinct. Saying this i've lost a nice chunck of money making bets on the statistical favorites, but then i started following Kapusta, Miscelli, and urself Kruser and my profits have increased dramatically. I really like the idea, and i may very well end up pitchin, but as a capper u know when somethin looks a little fishy ya stay away. I really hope i havnt offended u in this, but i just wanted to tell ya where myself, and i'm sure many others, stand. I'd love to meet some of these guys and show em how much i appreciate them making me money and i hope i someday get the chance. Once again, i love the idea, and will prob end up support'n ya in this but i'm gonna have to check out neteller security first just to calm a few nerves.

I just have seen things like this create a life of it's own and often more animosity between people than it's worth at times. Already starting to see a little bit of it creeping in to both the comments and responses. Either way though I will not knock the idea if you guys decide to go on with it, I do believe it's a nice gesture trying to be made.
