Actually, I was thinking of sending him about $100, or roughly 10% of my winnings, I'm not sure if that's enough. I am leaning more along the lines of maybe 20% or $200. Still probably not enought after all, he bets thousands per game. Why don't you tell me what I should do for Ace-ace to make him feel that he's appreciated?

These guys need nothing to know thier appreciated. They don't need $100 either. A nice meal and bottle of wine out with thier wife would be perfectly sufficient.

I am a huge goose hunter here in Iowa and when I want permission to hunt land here I don't pay a farmer $100 to hunt his land as he will most likely just politely say no and shut the door. However, if he does give you permission by just asking and you swing by with a couple t-bones to show your appreciation you will probably never be kicked off that land for the rest of the time he owns it.

Point being you don't need to send a gift of $200 without any thought put into it, but a $50 gift certificate to thier favorite restraunt is plenty. I must be the only one here who feels that way. . guess it was the way I was brought up.

Kruser, very kind. While I believe that I do have a place here at the Rx and I try to be supportive of the whole process, I certainly am not a capper along the lines of Micelli, Kapusta, action or, guess who....YOU!

You are an important part of this site. You don't owe anyone anything on these boards, though I appreciate your kindness. You wouldn't believe how many "dinners" your picks have produced for my family and I'm not kidding.

I about fell over when I saw my name included with the likes of some of the quality folk around here! LOL! Kruser, you are one of the greats around here, not me.

I will speak for everyone from Micelli to big play maker (and if you guys haven't followed big play maker you should check out his picks in the best bet thread on here): Thanks Kruser, you are too kind.

I think we all ask one thing from you and only one thing...

Wow, I really must be in the minority here. Didn't think I would be. Nevermind the idea fellas.

I thought if just 10 of the 2000+ people who follow each of these guys plays chipped $5 we would could get a $50 dinner for them. Guess not.

Everyone always says "Damn I need to get you something for your hard work" - I was just actually planning on following through on the idea.

ok, if thats what the biggest issue is then have Wil or someone at therx hold the money.

If anyone really thinks that I would set up a fucking scam like this to make $200 then you are insane. I can't even believe people are accusing me of that after the amount of time I have been here. Really though, its not like I was asking everyone for $50, $5 dollar! LOL. If I scammed you out of $5 that would be a joke.

I really didn't even think that would be an issue here. I have been an honest poster here since day 1. I have always trusted everyone I meet and expect the same trust to be put back in me. That comes from my roots though and I am in Iowa boy. Probably why I got scammed out of $1,500 here on therx this summer. Whatever though, I thought it was a nice gesture and anyone that isn't scared of me scamming them $5 you know my e-mail.

I was just planning on doing the legwork for the dinner - You know - contacting the posters to find out thier fav restraunts, calling the restraunts and buying the Gift Certificate on my credit card, and all that stuff.

:smoking:

Like I said before, forget I mentioned it. I didn't expect to get the hell bashed out of me for this.

I think it's a nice idea and nothing to be slammed. Kapusta knows he has a running invitation to meet the Berkshire boys (about 5 of us) sometime. Believe me, he won't pay for a thing.

noble idea, but i agree this thread should be moved to the tout section.

i dont log into this site to read requests for money.

i thought that was a fundamental rule here that made this different from other sites...
