Atlanta cops shoot dead a 27-year-old black man as they give chase after wrestling with him in a Wendy's

A black man who was seen wrestling with police officers near a Wendy's drive-thru in Atlanta was shot and killed by cops as he fled on foot, authorities said.
Video shows Rayshard Brooks, 27, in a scuffle as officers tried to take him into custody in a parking lot of a Wendy's on University Avenue at around 10:30pm on Friday.

The cop scored a takedown (2 pts.) but he was quickly reversed (2 pts.) by the -- um,
perpetrator, who was then unable to press his advantage. Perp & Cop ordered to their
feet by the referee. With time running out, Cop executes a second takedown (2 pts.)
only to have the Perp score an ESCAPE (1 pt.) and was subsequently shot while fleeing.

The match was officially scored as a FORFEIT in favor of the police officer, as the referee
rules that the Perp had illegally left the mat area. Perp forfeits the match, his life, and his
reputation as "athletically inclined".

Officer is in negotiations with WWE at this time for a five match contract. :toast:

This nice Jewish boy, after he punched a cop in the face, stole a taser, and turned to tase the cop, could have then incapacitated the officer, stolen his gun, and shot and killed the officer. The guy could have been drunk, high on drugs and/or had warrants against him. I wouldn't put handcuffs on police to keep law and order. It started as a totally lawful detention.

This is the toughest time in history to be in law enforcement...it is a no win situation...no room even for the good ones.

However the lines have been drawn in society now...you have american loving people on one side who are heavily armed and some WELL trained war fighters to back them up...On the other you have screaming snow flakes who want to start fights and run....I pray the time never comes this country has to turn on each other...

However if it does...I am glad I know what side I am on.

Mayor Keisha was one of the 6 woman Biden identified just yesterday as the list of possible VP candidates, and she has been rumored to be climbing to the top of the list lately. Hmmmm.

NAACP demanded the white female police chief be fired, and she was immediately... they say she stepped down, right. They named an interim police chief a male, I assume he is an African.

Rayshard Brooks sure was young and strong, wrestled the 2 cops violently for a significant period of time, punched one to effectively get separation, stole a taser, then ran, then reversed and ran back towards an officer. Officer in that situation aims dead center for the chest, cannot try to "wing" the attacker... will be interesting to see if the media crooks show the part with the cops wrestling for their lives.

Also, over/under: Sunday,4pm EST they will have a boyish picture of Rayshard when he was a skinny innocent looking high school kid.

Not sure if they can arrange Ellison to prosecute the case... these days, probably.

I read where the mayor was actually speaking in high regard of the police chief and said she stepped down as chief but will remain with the dept in a different capacity...
