Here we go again....

Haters gonna doubt Brady and the Bucs. Around this time last year we heard the same bullshit

They're get all hard over Rodgers, Stafford, Murray, Allen, etc. then wonder wtf happened when Brady lifts up Lombardi No. 8

Brady can't fix that secondary.. That's a big issue..

He's the best QB ever. But picking against Tampa to win the NFC is not hating or doubting HIM.

Show me anyone that would be surprised if he takes the Buccs to another Super Bowl and I'll show you an idiot.

But as good as he is, he doesn't win it every year. He goes about every other year on average and wins 2/3 of those. He's the GOAT, but he's not God.

Yeah, since they had such a great secondary last year

I'll take Brady, skill position weapons, and a good pass rush over anything else
just pointing out a obvious weaknesses here.. ignore it if you want...

Just a tired and lazy response calling out the forum haters because we're not slobbering over Brady like you seem to do...

Sure, not in all cases. Of course not

But there absolutely are people who pick against him for that reason.

For all the talk of how wild this season has been, it has mostly been a micro thing. Jags beating Bills, WFT beating Bucs, Chiefs losing 27-3 to Tenn, Dallas losing 35-14 to Denver or whatever it was. Some outlier results in single games but every single team in 1st place was expected to be when the season started besides AZ, and the Rams are 1 game back. Cream basically rising to the top.

Which sucks for me because I have longshots in like half these divisions, but whatever.

NE +450/Bengals 24-1 still live

Vikes +770, WFT +380, Broncos 15-1, JVille 12-1 all drawing dead...You think anyone else is admitting they had a Jags division winner on a public forum?

then TB/TN I have as favs 165/120

That Patriots defense is looking nice

Gonna be a battle between them and the Bills in the AFC EAST

No doubt the Patriots look good and are clicking. But lets take a look at who they have beat.

Jets (2-7)
Texans (1-8)
Jets (2-7)
Chargers (5-4)
Panthers (w/Darnold) (5-5)
Browns (5-5)
Falcons (4-6)

That's wins against opponents with a combined record of 24-42. Only one win against a team that currently has a winning record.

Meanwhile their four losses.

Dolphins (3-7)
Saints (5-4)
Buccaneers (6-3)
Cowboys (7-2)

Their 4 losses against teams with a combined record of 21-16.

They are a good team. But let's pump the brakes on this Super Bowl talk. They have beaten the teams they should beat. And there's something to be said for that. But there is a celing with this team. Lack of experience at the QB position and lack of weapons on offense will catch up with them.

One and done in the playoffs. If they make it.

^

Next 4 games are vs the Titans, the bills 2x, and at indy

They should handle Jax no problem and then travel to Miami (who always seem to beat the pats in dec/jan when playing in miami)

Pats are a good team and should be playoff bound but lets pump the breaks about the SB talk and comparisons to the 2001 team.

That 2001 team had PLENTY of good breaks come their way

However if you are a pats fan, you MUST be happy on how the team looks and that you may have a QB for the next 15 years (or until Bill B is coach)

Aside from the struggling Chiefs, who have the Bills beat?

nice dissertation but you realize none of this matters?

The 8-8-1 Steelers don't get in over the 10-7 Pats because they played a better schedule ;)

Moving forward? No, not all of it matters.

But some of it does. Lack of explosive players on the outside to stretch the field matters. A rookie QB with no playoff experience playing in the Wild Card round on the road at Arrowhead Stadium matters. Those things matter a lot.
