The heart-breaking images of 1,000 dogs stuffed into cages to be sold as meat... but they've been rescued

By Daily Mail Reporter

Last updated at 4:23 PM on 13th August 2011

They were destined to be cooked and eaten, but these suffering dogs luckily escaped their gruesome fate.
Police in Thailand rescued more than 1,000 of the animals from tiny cages when they intercepted four trucks attempting to smuggle them out of the country.

The dogs -stacked high in scores of crates - were being transported to Vietnam as officers swooped in two raids in Nathom and Si Songkhram districts near the border with Laos.

Dog is the most favorite meat of Ha Noi commies.

On average they consume a thousand dogs daily.

It's crazy.

Sad, disgusting picture zit....but I am reminded of the fact that these people view dogs the same way we do chickens and cows...I suppose our treatment and transportation methods are similarly barbaric.

I just bought a used copy for $2.34 on Amazon and the sequel for $2.82.

Sweet deals there.

I also picked several copies of Thailand Fever to distribute to my bargirl friends so that they may better understand Farang.

Thanks for mentioning this one. I've added that to my to do reading list. A few others that caught my eye in the store:

1. Queer Bangkok {a must read for CHOPTALK}

2. The Boys In Black {in case anyone is wondering, this isn't related to AC/DC}

3. Thaksin

4. The Thai Race: Elder Brother of the Chinese {really?}

5. The People of Esarn: The Damned of Thailand

6. Retiring in Thailand

7. Thai Law & Foreigners

8. Red vs Yellow

9. How to Buy Real Estate in Thailand

10. Child Labour & Child Prostitution in Thailand

I just finished reading "Confessions of a Bangkok Private Eye" as told to Stephen Leather by Warren Olson. These are "true stories from the case files of" the latter, including one CHOPTALK would enjoy about a farang who almost married a ladyboy. I found the book even more entertaining - less drama & more humour - than "Private Dancer". Now i am about to begin the sequel, "Thai Private Eye", which claims to "serve up more juicy stories" including those "deemed too hot to include in the first book for fear of repercussions. It also includes recent cases, where state-of-the-art surveillance devices and other advances in the dark arts of private investigation have made it easier to uncover dirt deep below the surface".

The first chapter of "Confessions" can be downloaded for free here:

As a vegetarian, you beat me to my argument.

My argument with a lot of friends is, that if you eat chicken, beef, seafood, there is no difference in eating dog or any other animal for that matter.

The actual eating of any animal is not the moral issue. The issue is
how the animal is treated during it's lifetime.

Also, many kinds of seafood are not sentient beings.

What's a guy to do when bored of banging nubile TGs. Read more books, of course.

So i picked these up today:

1. Bangkok Noir, by 12 authors including Stephen Leather

http://www.amazon.com/Bangkok-Noir-ebook/dp/B004X6RX1Q

2. Butterfly, by Stephen Yang

Butterfly explores love for sale in Southeast Asia and the sensuality of the twenty-six young ladies profiled in this erotic odyssey....sexual technique, travel, culture, history, politics, and Pattaya's wild celebration of Songkran.

In Butterfly, our intrepid photojournalist is writing travel guides in Pattaya and Phnom Penh, shooting illustrations, and making love with pretty Thai and Vietnamese women every night. Butterfly is hot, relentless and explicit, a virtual Kama Sutra of sexual variations....told in a man-to-man fashion.

Author of ten guides to Southeast Asian destinations, Yang has woven a treasure of travel information into this erotic tour de force.

"Steven Yang....Our Asian expert dishes up the hot sauce." Hustler's Asian Fever magazine.

"Butterfly....A three month romp in Thailand and Cambodia....Find out what the girls of Southeast Asia are really like." Asian Beauties magazine.

"Butterfly takes a deep look at the Southeast Asian sex scene...intimate...entertaining...dripping with sex." Oriental Women magazine.

This thread was on Page 8. Unacceptable.

35 Days, 7 Hours, 14 Minutes until wheels up.

www.thaifriendly.com This site has been an absolute gold mine. Many very gorgeous ladies, and many of them have questionable morals. All you have to do is ask. I've got more phone numbers than I could possible call during my 11 days.
