Just got back to CR from Thailand on sunday. Have to say the place blew me away. Sorry VD I didnt get to hook up with you in pattaya was a whirlwind tour thru your town spent 2 nights there but met up with 5 of my high school buddys I hadnt seen in 20 years. Left my 4 year old boy hear in CR with the inlaws. I will be bringing him back next time so much for him to see and do there. Went down to the trang islands for 4 nights then up to chiang mai for songkran then up to pai for the end of my trip. Have to say the people were the nicest and kindest people I have ever met. Weird to go from one paradise to another but looking forward to my return trip. Just wish it wasnt so damn far away. CR has alot to learn from the pattaya nightclubs.
VD, I've only got 9 nights this time, and I'm going to be spread pretty thin. However, I will be coming back every 6 months and I really want to see Pattaya, and having an experienced guide is a bonus. I will 100% make it to Pattaya when I come back in March or April of 2012.
What would be the best way to get from Bangkok to Pattaya? Taxi? Bus?
Well, completely anecdotal, but when I was 39 (wow...almost can't believe it was 12 yrs ago) I had a couple month dalliance with a then 24 yr old and I had to constantly catch myself from saying, "You have such SOFT SKIN!" because it was such a Creepy Old Guy thing to say......
