I got home around 9pm last night. I was supposed to go to work today, but my reason for going in was postponed until next week. Good thing, because I'm so distracted I probably would have gotten my fucking hand cut off.
I'm not normally an emotional guy. I shrug off many things that elicit great emotion from most people. In fact, I would even go so far as to say that I'm somewhat detached. However, I am currently being overwhelmed by sadness. It's weird that I felt more at home in Bangkok than I do at home. I can't really put words to it, and I'm certain that not everyone who goes there experiences what I'm experiencing right now. It's just a very weird feeling for me to be so distraught over having to leave.
I have a BS in Education, so it would be a breeze for me to get a job teaching English there at one of the better schools. The pay isn't that great and I hear the job security isn't either. I've never been much of a risk taker and I have such a good job here I just don't know if I could pull the trigger on such a life altering move.

I wouldn't pay for sex, but I don't blame those that do. If you really are considered a rock star I would hope it could happen without paying for it but there is probably something to be said about paying and knowing she will do whatever I want and it's known from the start that's what they would be there for.
Besides family vacations are the one thing I really look forward to and love visiting new places. Being married and with 3 kids Thailand probably isn't for me but for someone single it sounds fantastic.
One other thing DEAC I always get a little depressed when I get back from ANY vacation, let alone one where I had sex with a bunch of different women so I understand what you are going through. It sucks having to go back to work, pay bills, see the same people that annoy you, etc.
And while you loved Thailand if you moved there it would be a grind just like you had here in the states. And the fact if you had a much lesser income that means you can't pay for sex as much as you did in this 2 weeks so of course it wouldn't be as much fun. And while I hope you made a great bond with some of these women, they might think you are less of a rock star if you weren't paying them daily. Just food for thought, glad you had a great time.

My strategy for next time is to hit Climax around 0230. That's when go-go dancers from Soi Cowboy start filtering in looking for a last chance hook up. You can take them home without buying them drinks and paying the bar fine for about half their normal rate.
For those with lower standards, you can hit the Nana Plaza disco and pick up a free lancer for $40.
If you are saving $200 a pop over the USA/Canada, and doing it only once a day, that's a savings of $2,800 on a two week holiday. I do it three times a day, so it's over 8 grand. Further i find TGs are more my type. After my first 2 months here in '07 i thought i'd died & gone to heaven, so obviously didn't want to leave. Came back a month later & stayed half a year.
