What makes this place enticing is that it is so far away from the states and Americans hate getting on an airplane for any length of time....but if you take the chance and do it, you won't be dissappointed...

The Royal Thai Police block many porn, gambling, escort and (what they consider) anti-Thai sites.

If a specific site is blocked, however, may depend on the server.

There could be ways to get around it if you know how and are willing to take the chance {of
getting caught, since gambling is illegal in Thailand}.

I've always found Pinnacle and one other site i frequent to be blocked. I don't know about the
others you mention, but someone over there could tell you.

BTW, seeing you are from Munich, near to where i stayed in BKK there are two German sounding
bar/restaurants, the Biergarten and Heidlburg {sp?}. I once met a snow white skinned half Thai
half German young lady in the area. She worked at the latter mentioned pub.

There are tons of Europeans here....every nationality has their clubs and bars; that's why the restaurants are so good.....Americans are a minority over here.....

Tons of British, Irish, and Austrailan Pubs.....

Police are serious about gambling here...World Cup gives them an excuse to bust locals....
